The Weather Network is still talking about being in the middle of a winter storm. What storm is that exactly? Yes, it's snowing. That's all. It's just a little snow. They cancelled schools because of this nonsensical severe weather warning -- absolutely ridiculous!

Only time Toronto stopped was during the winter storm where Mel Lastman brought in the army - which I think is also pretty pathetic but krc6868 how does that reflect Toronto's collective character? Come to Seattle and see how people react to weather, he'll never bitch again. In Seattle, if there's a heavy frost on the ground, schools are closed and people call in to work. And people who bitch about rain in Seattle...you didn't do your homework very well before you moved here did you? What is the ONE, SINGLE, most OVERSTATED FACT about Seattle? Duh...weather. Sheesh.
This video has nothing to do with Seattle, why bring it up? It is clearly a Canadian video from a Canadian TV Show. I dont think he mentioned that he lived in Seattle. Maybe I missunderstood your post, but let me know what you are getting at.
What makes this strike home for me is that if you replace the words Canada and Toronto with Cincinnati and change 3 centimeters with 1 inch it still makes perfect sense. And I don't think Torontarded makes sense outside of Toronto, but it still is a funny word.

Imbrace it my ass, only live once and why waste it spending one more winter in Toronto. I'm moving to southern Arizona. Where I could ride my motorcycle year round. My car won't rust and fall apart. When in five years it's worth less then you spend to insure it in Toronto for one year. High cost of living in Toronto plus the excessive taxation in Canada
made me realize I'm throwing my life away living above the 49th parallel.
