you should hold your cavalry back until the infantry reached the enemies aand after that you can let you cavalry charge

idk if you're still making this mistake (sorry, no offense), but you need to tap a number so you can say "cavalry, hear me" and then give them an order to stand ground (F1, F4 if I'm not mistaken). Later on you can tell them to charge when the infantry is close enough, so that they all charge in a single wave.

Come to think of it, you might wanna try and play defense and have your army shoot 'em down as they charge.

Are you saying that you played mount and blade, and warband and you still don't understand how to command your troops?

You can tell your cavalry to hold back or just follow you if you want as well as telling your infantry or archers to hold position for firing on the enemy from afar.

You do realise if you press like, F1, F2, F3, Etc, you can give orders to units... Stand ground, follow me, spread out... put away ranged weapons, etc, etc... 1,2,3 picks what type of unit, f1,f2,f3 etc gives the commands...

Wait for the patch .. Your units don't get xp in this version of the game .. They said they will fix it in next patch . Also its a good thing to command units .. If you flank the rifleman with horseman they will get crushed. Still great video. And If you see a medic you will recover more people and with time they will become veterans.

@stanburdman i would sugest that for money you gather up around 25-30 soldiers then plumber a little village if they look modern they gonna give you more if they look old and nomadic they gonna give u less but dont make the attacks to the same faction to many times or you will get in wars as i did

Stan if you don't want your cavalry to be throw themselves into the enemy spears you should press 3, to slect calavlry, and then F1 for movement options. Then F2 if you want them to follow you and F1 again to hold position.
