hello what is the real problem of the machine, because it whistles? my cr-v has the same problem in the rear-wheel drive off-road and in my opinion has a short ... short duration and it makes me stay on the snow .. Is it a problem due to the lack silicone oil, the viscous coupling? help me thanks a lot

its not the rear differential fluid i thought it was that at first but after i changed it with the honda dual pump fluid the fluid i drained out was perfectly as clean as the fluid i replaced it with. even though it reduced the sound a little bit the sound would still be there so im thinking it has to be the drive shaft there is probably a greese fitting that has to be greesed or mabe a bearing needs to be replaced but yea that sound is very irritating and makes your car sound ghetto i hate it..
So does mine!!! wtf is that noise from what i can gather its semi normal. It must be some sort of lack of lubrication near the rear diff after it kicks in.
hey,i got a CRV too,and i have that same weird sound,like a trumpet sound...where does it come from ?? (going offroad with it is so fun,i do it sometimes :) altought it's just a SUV;cool vid anyway CRV rocks !!)

Be sure to use the right fluid.. Go to your Honda dealer.

That noise is from the rear differential and it means that the fluid needs to be changed.

Thats what I thought, and I had the system bleed on mine. It seems to have dampened the noise but, its still there.
