  • dude honestly u sound like a total douch bag, But im not gonna lie..Because of your video my tank is a lot more presentable Thanks

  • where do you get your drift wood? do you get your at the store?

cuz i was wondering that if i can use the wood from my tree in my backyard

if i did, i would boil it, to kill anything living inside it....

and put it in a bucket for two weeks and then see how that goes and put it in my tank.

Is that a good idea? or is it just better to buy drift wood from the store cuz i want to save money :P

  • I bought mine at Petsmart for like $7 there are actually some pretty nice looking ones but they wont fit in mine. Look in the reptile section.

  • man i need some drift wood:( just cost alot

  • would you recommend doing a dirt tank if you are a beginner

  • @KETIMENE i wouldnt is this ur first planted tank. is this ur first planted? if so dont use dirt

  • @TheAquariumKid ok i wont so thanks for replying

  • @KETIMENE what type of dirt, you could use the walstd method and use organic soil, with peat moss and then cap it off with gravel.

  • so, the three pieces of driftwood that i picked up tonight are sort of straight pieces...

    nothing too fancy about them

what can i do with them that would actually look alright?

i also found a bunch of awesome rocks from the river

maybe i could saw down the wood and blend it in with the rocks that i picked up?

  • @dboll719 mess with it, leave the wood in it and leave it alone, stare at it a while. Look for angles with the longer pieces of wood. cut them, i'd need to see it...
