  • what an amazing horse, and a genuine nice man, no wonder they work well together.

  • what an amazing horse, and a genuine nice man, no wonder they work well together.

  • the matter is that some people here are criticizing and comment negatively but they don't have a horse at this level and never trained a horse up to this level. And i think that some of them, have actually no clue about riding dressage or training horses. No offense, but this is what i think!

  • Haha!!! Eat the mic Totilas lolz. It was cute when he yawned at the beginning. Edward Gal is such a genuine person, I wish I could've met him.

  • its amazing

i will dat i come to him

  • I'm not sure exactly how he got sold? Is it all about the money? I think Ed and Totilas were made for eachother. I can't imagine anyone else on him. It's really sad to think he won't be riding him anymore.

  • @Cassolelvr Actually, there are rumors going around that they will be reunited :D Some australian rich guy who is Gals sponsor is buying Totilas back and letting Edward ride him again. I´ve read an article about it somewhere and it´s all over the internett, but DAMN! I really hope the rumors are true! I´d love it if Gal and Totilas could become a team again. They were unbeatable!

  • EIn absolutes Traumpaar und es tut mir soooo leid, dass sie getrennt wurden.

  • hahaha i loved the part at the end!! lol...

  • Erm no kiddin... The horse really goes "crazy" when you turn him out into the field? Really? Wow, that's a shocker, seeing as he doesn't usually get out.

    At all.

    Jeeeeeezus.

  • @pumpkinses I´m not exactly fan of him not getting the chance to be like a normal horse, getting out and all, but when a top level athlete like Totilas injures himself it´s a friggin big deal. That´s why they are doing what is safe for him, to be able to be at his best and be the Totilas he is. Look at Blue Hors Matine, what happened to her. That was a tragic accident for all us who loved her. Imagine what would happen if we lost our beloved Totilas.

  • @CloudStrife2014: Just because a horse is worth more money it should not be treated less ethically "for it's own good" or whatever, which is really a synonym for "the owners' wallet's good"

  • Every Successful person has his/her haters

  • Such a pity Edward and Totilas have been separated. I don't think Totilas will be as good with anyone else. Perhaps he's just going to stand at stud now....

  • What is the matter with you people. Can't you just appreciate what a wonderful horse this is. The partnership between him and Edward is very unique. Don't even talk about what Klimke would think. He too would appreciate this. I'm disgusted with you armchair critics!!!!

  • Unfortunately, Tottilas was sold to German former showjumper turned top European breeder Paul Schockemohl.

  • Such uncalled for criticism and ignorance in these mean messages. The horse performs with joyful expression and happiness. I wonder what the point is of such hateful judgment by people who, most likely, are armchair critics.

  • In fact you can make an assessment of the horse. If you pause around 1:41, you will see the horse's back is quite underdeveloped and almost atrophied showing that when this horse exercises, he is not moving through his back. He is doing these Grand Prix movements as "tricks" rather than showing correct "training." I won't make a comment about his rider, because it may be how he was taught, what he feels, etc, but I am just looking at the horse's musculature

  • @MerlynLover This is so sad, horse can't be allowed out in a field because he runs around like crazy and might throw a shoe. So he lives locked up with steel on his feet and steel in his mouth. Just to perform for a crowd. No wonder he's not properly developed - he can't run free. Is he really happy?

  • @leapfar What you don't seem to understand is that he will injure himself when he starts running that hard, read about cabana boy or Blue hors Matine-both turn out accidents, both fatal.

  • @Gabbagail1 It´s so sad what happened to pretty Matine :(((( I really loved that girl, such amazing talent. Miss her and her beauty. R.I.P

  • @MerlynLover The underdeveloping of his back, is caused by the saddle, not because he does not move through his back. Besides, dressage is all about tricks, that's the hole point. It's learning a horse how to do tricks in a right way, with the right use of his body.

  • @itnocsiv dressage is certainly NOT just "tricks" tricks are performed in the circus!

  • @itnocsiv Get a life! Get on that horse and make him do those "tricks". I´ll see how he bucks your fat ass off and stomps on it. If you don´t know anything I advise you to shut your trap. Stupid idiots who know nothing.

  • @CloudStrife2014 wooh someone got issues here. But I didn't wrote that I can make Totilas do all those tricks, I think Edward is one of the best riders in the world and what he and Totilas accomplished together was just amazing! But that doesn't change the fact that dressage is for a part about tricks, if you don't learn your horse tricks than you always be on the same level and won't make any progress. But when I mean tricks I don't mean circus tricks, I mean the learning proces of dressage.

  • @itnocsiv Then you can write it like that and explain better, because when you write like you did at first, it seems very provocative and people react strongly.

  • @MerlynLover Love it when people talk about something they have no idea about. :) Jealous people are very entertaining!

  • This vide is not in the right perspective. If you don't know how to put them up properly then get someone who does. You can't make fair assesment on horse and or rider based on this type of thing.

  • What would Klimke say.. We need to go back to asking that if we want Dressage to ever potentialy be as beautiful and connected as we hope it to be.. Sad

  • Beautifully overbent in the halt - for a 10 !!!!!!!!!!! no no judges, that's probably worth an 8 max !!

  • He talks the talk : HOWEVER we've seen the schooling as taught by Anky and know somewhat differently! WHAT are the judges playing at awarding horses with hollow backs, with an incorrect piaffe, rubbish extension (my 4 yr old can do better!), pretty awful changes and tight in the neck most of the time. He looks more like a body builder than a ballet dancer (Toto that is!)

  • @BanRollkur very interesting comment...hollow back :(

  • What a wonderful example of what we strive for in our partnership with our horses! THE example of "Dressage"!

  • Gotta love this couple!!!
