Ideology has no place in journalism, Glen Beck knows nothing about journalism, they are not asking tough questions they are spreading propaganda to boost their audience ratings and increase ad revenue.
The fact that Fox news is the major proponent of the current conservative republican ideology speaks volumes of the level the party has sunk. This gives much reason for the Democrats to celebrate. I think William Buckley would not watch fox news.
PBS and NPR are a more reasoned source of information.

The problem with electronic journalism these days is that it has drifted too far into the "entertainment" realm and away from actual news gathering, in part because of the coalescence of the 24/7 news cycle. Everything is a sound bite or a photo op -- there isn't much in-depth analysis or coverage.
If you're a fan of Fox "engineered news"," then you need to realize that you're sorta stupid. Apparently, you love being spoon-fed fake news & lies. What does this say about you? We're talking about Democrats here. A lot of them including Obama ran on health care reform and even a public option. Instead, the democrats got bought out and you ended up with "reform" that only serves to make insurance companies richer. This half assed reform is going to effectively kill a lot of democrats' chance of being elected. It isn't because they're too far left that they won't be reelected; it's because they can't get any real reform on health insurance or wall strreet.
The president should not tell people to do things outside the will of the people.

the 1969 book "Myth of the Six Million" by the Harvard phd David Hoggan argued that the WW2 victors fabricated the holocaust claims to justify the sustained occupation of Germany, the executions of Germans and the theft of Palestine. The book also argued that the WW2 victors used the bogus holocaust narrative to deflect scrutiny away from their many atrocities as Katyn forest, Cologne, Danzig, Bromberg, Dresden, Hamburg, Berlin, Royan, Tokyo, Hiroshima, Nagasaki and the Gulag camps.

All the things Barry O objects to "no child left behind" Prescription drug benefit" he voted for on one of the few days he was actually working in the Senate.
The entire media rolled over for Bush after 9/11 - following that MSLSD and the rest went on the attack - to a lesser degree Fox cut him no slack.
No matter I am more a Mark Levin man than a Fox watcher. Didn't vote for Bush either time - last time I voted GOP was for Bush the elder's first term. They all became too liberal for me.

PBS and NPR are a more reasoned source of information.

@tigeremod I actually prefer to listen to the World Service of the BBC on NPR for my news, because it is arguably free of ideological taint from any of the major American political delusions. The problem with electronic journalism these days is that it has drifted too far into the "entertainment" realm and away from actual news gathering, in part because of the coalescence of the 24/7 news cycle. Everything is a sound bite or a photo op -- there isn't much in-depth analysis or coverage.

We're talking about Democrats here. A lot of them including Obama ran on health care reform and even a public option. Instead, the democrats got bought out and you ended up with "reform" that only serves to make insurance companies richer. This half assed reform is going to effectively kill a lot of democrats' chance of being elected. It isn't because they're too far left that they won't be reelected; it's because they can't get any real reform on health insurance or wall strreet.
