You are right I did appreciate this vid now in summer 2011. It looked cold and I am glad I have to wait months before that sort of weather hits my front door.
Interesting idea and cool music but more shots of the gorgeous lake and the surrounding area and LESS shots of you contemplating and your feet walking would be nice. I really wanted to SEE what YOU were seeing and enjoying much more then your face reacting to it!!! Who cares! Can anyone make a video anymore and not have it be all about them???? Give me a break please!!!
I am from Michigan and I used to go to Chicago every December to Christmas shop. Its so beautiful there this time of year. Im in the south right now and I am very homesick.

Very effective use of Contemplation Point.
And OMG that's one frozen mofo of a lake! Still, even at that temperature, Chicago looks terrific. Even the Charlie Brown tree seems to agree.

This reminds me of my hometown, there is a peer that looks over the bay and I used to go out and play my guitar on it. Very relaxing.
