I've seen Aero$mith 23 times...so far! "NO ONE" can put on such a raw, high energy show than the bad boys from boston...Aero$mith is "THE BEST" hard rock band around...hands down! ((( PERIOD )))
LOVE ITTT. U know this song was redone years ago by someone else, and my x argued with me for DAYZZZZZZZZZZ that there was NO WAY this was an Aerosmith song ....... needless to say he was not happy when I showed him who wrote it .... awesomeness ................ty for posting
I MET STEVEN TYLER!!!!!! seriously i wouldnt lie bout something like that, it was at the most unexptected place....a mall, but no one knew WHERE the mall was we just used GPS anyway who cares i MET him. he can SAFELY say joe perry cares bout him LOL. and he told me how to be VIP on aeroforceone. anyonecan be go sign up;then go exclusives;member exclusives;vip then it says like u can PM JP or steven and ask questions
Almost every band crashes and burns on drugs and alcohol and every raunchy new band goes through the same shit until it's too late. They lost their edginess and creativity along with their non-renewable brain cells through abuse. It's the rock and roll cliche dues that repeats itself over and over. They'll never learn cause when you become rock gods, you think you're invincible. Luckily we have the recordings to hark back on and keep rocking to their golden years.
I grew up in the 70's. BEST hard rock and heavy metal was spawned from the late 60's and the 70's. Back when Aerosmith still had some balls. 1973 to 1979 were the BEST Aerosmith years ever. Hands down. Then, just like Van Halen, Def Leppard and Metallica - Aerosmith cleaned up their act, got off the booze and the drugs, and then lost their balls, their fire and ice, their gnarliness, their angst and heavy edge and got all soft and wishy-washy, just like the other ones did after awhile.
Man i love old Aerosmith i don't know what happened, how can you go from producing classic albums like Toys In The Attic and Rocks to selling out and making I Don't Want To Miss A Thing
This has always been my favorite Aerosmith song, mostly because of the real metal attitude it has. I LOVE this song and all, but once you listen to the Testament version, it's pretty hard to get re-acquainted with the not-so-fast speed of the original, but it still rocks!
i was readin steven tyler's book and he said that when they were recording this song the record producer walk into the recording booth while they were recording, but they didnt retape it because steven and joe loved putting weird things in a songs recording just to see if people will figure it out. haha. u can hear the door at 0:14
Drummer would like to find some lads who can play this album and kick it in the park band shell in Twin Falls. Imagine summer afternoon , cold beer, hot lasses. And hot rocks! Thousands sway to the beat! ! ! !! ! ! ! ! ! ! !! !! ! ! ! ! !
@1962drob dude i agree 100% but surpisingly at my school me and my friend are the only 2 students that hold really in respect for them! Everyone else either listens to metallica or they listen to that modern "music"
@CONFINEDroyalty07 Hey! There's nothing wrong with listening to Metallica...I'm an all-around Aerofan, but I do have a great deal of respect for Metallica, mainly because James Hetfield worshipped Aerosmith and Rocks when he was a kid. He also said that this song you're listening to right now--Nobody's Fault--was his favorite song, growing up.
And yeah, I don't know why people even consider what's on the radio "music".
@Animelloveer it's not the fact that they listen to metallica cuz i mean i do to sometimes, it is the fact that they ALL trash Aerosmith! they dont understand that w/out Aerosmith there would be no metallica
@CONFINEDroyalty07 REALLY?!? I've seen James and Kirk give some credit, but the others, not so much.......there WOULD BE NO METALLICA without the mighty AEROSMITH.
As the Groove Magazine said so well in 1978:
-And the sledgehammer that powers the American Heavy Metal Machines is undeniably Aerosmith.
@CONFINEDroyalty07 Dude, this is nothing new. I see comments like this all the time. 'My school sucks, my classmates are all 50 Shit worshipping morons'...unfortunately, that's very simply because rap is the in thing at the MOMENT. In the future it'll be something else. In the 60's it was The Beatles. In the 70's it was either Disco, or if you were into rock (which was a lot of people) it was Zeppelin, this band, AC-DC, Rainbow, Sabbath etc...in the 80's it was New Wave. That's life, man.
@NationalOrder Yeah, but in the undeniably true (and rather explicit) words of Phil Anselmo: "F***! All the f***in' experts are f***ing saying that metal is f***ing dead! Well why don't you all f***ing turn around and look at everbody in this f***cking room! You tell me metal's f***ing dead!!!"
...or at least they went something like that...just lots of F-bombs...
On a more serious note, though, I really do love Pantera and Aerosmith!
@CONFINEDroyalty07 Yeah, screw Metallica! No...I like Metallica, but Megadeth has gotta be my favorite band of all-time...seriously, go listen to "Last Rites/Loved to Deth" or "Holy Wars...The Punishment Due" (or the more recent "Endgame") and tell me that's not the best metal on Earth (thrash, that is)! On a more relevent note, though, I love Aerosmith...and it's 4:00 AM so yes I'm gonna be posting a bunch of comments or somethin' like that...
@68lpjr Actually, the album Rocks is considered an all-around heavy metal album. Have you listened to the other tracks? They're pretty heavy. And so is some of their tracks from Toys In The Attic....Round and Round is really heavy, and the song Toys In the Attic could even be considered heavy metal. :P
Happy Birthday Brad!!

This and "round and round" are heavier than anything released at the time.
Is hard to believe that its the same band that plays songs like Jaded and I don't to miss a thing.
Rocks and Toys in The Attick are hard rock masterpieces. Can't be missed by any hardrock/metal fan!
