Just saw the movie for the first time. That is a damn good line. Its such a shame that Union Carbide, and what can most kindly be described as their disciples of Satan, have yet to be brought to justice. But I suppose being American provides you with lots of get of jail free cards.
According to the legend, Shiva is credited with protecting one of his ardent devotees from Yama God of Death, Dharma, Hellkeeper and in the process almost hitting Yama with his powerful trident when Yama was getting ready to throw the noose around the devotee. The devotee is named Mark-an-deya, condemned to death in his early teens and had been furiously praying begging for mercy at Shiva's temple. So, Shiva is also referred to as Mrithyun-jaya meaning One who triumphed over death. 2 cents.
the scary thing is things like this actually DO happen!! the corporate world is rife with sociopaths who manage to hide it very very well
