The best off the dribble jump shooter I have ever seen. The quickest release I have ever seen. He could get his shot wherever and whenever he wanted. He was the first player Id ever saw shoot a 3 pointer on a fast break. He was so NICE.

Here's the question: How did LSU have Shaq, Chris Jackson AND Stanley Roberts on the same team and not go undefeated. NCAA was WAAAAAAAAAAY better back then. Chris Jackson should have had player of the year without a doubt. But in the late 80's and early nineties the voters were "old school" and didn't believe a freshman should get the award regardless of perfomance or how much better they were than a senior. It was all about the best Jr or SR and too bad if a player was the best college basketball player in the country as a freshman or sophmore there was no way they were going to get the award.
