I've always have him as the best college point guard EVER on my ALL-TIME TEAM!!! I first noticed him in the McDonald's All-American game and followed him ever since.....BOY WAS RAW!!!!!
The best off the dribble jump shooter I have ever seen. The quickest release I have ever seen. He could get his shot wherever and whenever he wanted. He was the first player Id ever saw shoot a 3 pointer on a fast break. He was so NICE.
this guy was AMAZING!!!! forget Iverson...Chris Jackson could score 60pts if he had to....problem was Denver tried to make him a point guard (BIG MISTAKE) and then he got distracted with religion, the flag, and politics...
@paperboy215....the distraction for him was that he DIDNT FOCUS on bball and "play the game." He let his personal/inner beliefs get in the way and it DAMAGED HIS CAREER....this guy could take on michael jordan and iverson... no problems...
Here's the question: How did LSU have Shaq, Chris Jackson AND Stanley Roberts on the same team and not go undefeated. NCAA was WAAAAAAAAAAY better back then. Arkansas had Todd Day, Lee Mayberry AND Oliver Milller. Alabama had Latrell Sprewell, Robert Horry and James Robinson. And that's just the SEC! I didnt forget Alan Houston either.
Too bad someone misled him into Islam. His wife, Kim, didn't go for it - good for her. She divorced him after his demands of her wearing a veil and to "lower her gaze." She made it clear she was both a Christian and an American, not a muslim. I've often wondered why black Muslims in America equate themselves to anti-American. Hell, just look at Obama as an example of that.
Jackson committed the ultimate sin, letting religious extremism disrupt his althletic career. What a waste.
@guyfroml he made the best choice of his life accepting Islam..he went from polytheism to total monotheism..seems he's on the right track now-a blessing from
Allah..ur just pissed ur still in paganism..seems personal...too bad Allah has shut ur heart, which is now like a disease! ewwwwwww...and his ex wife made a big mistake, shes a loser, Allah i am sure gave his one way better than his ex pagan wife
@hich101 The God of Jesus Christ is the only true God. As Christ said "there is no way to the father but through the son." You, Chris and others can believe as you feel, but Christianity, which decends directly from Judiasm, is the oldest faith on the planet - the belief in the Judeo-Christian God. "Our" God says to come to the light of the lamb of God, not strap bombs to your body and murder innocent lives. And our God teaches to forgive...can you point out where Islam ever preaches that?
@guyfroml Stating that Jesus Christ is the only true God and then backing that up by quoting Jesus in the Bible is like saying Domino's Pizza is the best Pizza in the world and then quoting the CEO of Domino's to prove your claim.
@guyfroml Wrong again! Born and raised Catholic and I go to Church pretty much every week. But hey, call me an "idiot" and you automatically win this internet pissing match. Good for you!

What about Judaism? Is the God of the Jews not a real god? They don't even believe in Jesus, but based on your logic their God is not real. However, without Judaism, Christianity wouldn't have come into the world. Think about that one for a second.
@Futurecoach16 God of Abraham(pbuh) not Jews....The whole Jews thing came from Judah the son of Jacob(pbuh). Judaism, Christianity and Islam all worship God of Abraham(pbuh). Remember Abraham(pbuh) had two sons, Ismail(pbuh) and Isaac(pbuh). The Israelites came from Isaac(pbuh) side and the Arabs came from the Ismail(pbuh) side.

Very sad. He questioned the validity of the U.S. Gov account of what happened on 9/11. He lost his career over that. Now quite a few Americans know what people all over the world knew. And that is the attack was basically a movie with G.DUB AND HIS DADDY'S BOYS directing. This guy was a victim of the arrogance and fear of Americans. America wake the hell up. Check out his 60 min interview. As soon as he suggested that Isreal may have had something to do with it, his career was over.
Chris Jackson should have had player of the year without a doubt. But in the late 80's and early nineties the voters were "old school" and didn't believe a freshman should get the award regardless of perfomance or how much better they were than a senior. It was all about the best Jr or SR and too bad if a player was the best college basketball player in the country as a freshman or sophmore there was no way they were going to get the award.
Absolutely the best scorer, college basketball player of the late 80's and early ninties. I totally agree with the comment about how chris jackson would dominate with no hand checking rules. Sad how the anthem thing was so blown out of porportion. I truly experienced joy watching chris jackson at lsu he was "art in motion"! Loved it when he kicked Georgetown and Mournings ass when the Hoyas were number one in 89.
he was. 18+ ppg and team leader in assists, should've been an all star. Unfortunately that anthem thing got him blackballed. With today's rules that NBA has with no handchecking, he would absolutely dominate every single PG in the league offensively. Without question.
I've always have him as the best college point guard EVER on my ALL-TIME TEAM!!! I first noticed him in the McDonald's All-American game and followed him ever since.....BOY WAS RAW!!!!!
