The problem is I keep seeing him using the same jokes in the same manner. Many stand up comedians re-use jokes a lot, but at least they have such a wide variety that it's not noticed too much. Dat Phan is funny, but he needs new material.

I think the people whose faces were shown were the other comedians and they were simply "shocked", "surprised", and "disappointed" at how much the actual audience enjoyed the set. On that episode of LCS, everyone wanted Dat to be voted off bc they truly thought he wasn't funny at all and too inexperienced. Guess he showed them!
