  • Lol, even in GG he picks the closest thing there to a shoto - Sol.

  • are they ever going to make guilty gear 3 or XXX

  • who the fuck is Daigo?

  • Comment removed

  • @epsikkun You aren't familiar with double digit math are you? Trying to go into detail with someone who thinks having at least one match where the advantage is slight undoes everything is just lmfao worthy. You're just some nerd who spends all his time scrimmaging info off of Dust and probably the Zen boards. Continuing to argue would just contradict all my previous claims, have a good day. Your intelligence is obviously far too inadequate to be bothered wasting anymore time with.

  • @epsikkun Yes, and Meta,Yun,YangSF3,SF4Aku and chun all have 50:45 matchups, an 11:9 MU won't change your status to the rest of the cast retard. Meta and Yu don't even have bad matchups. So the irony of it all is that someone with minuscule intellect (This being yourself if you are still confused at irony) at best looked at a chart and didn't understand how the numbers were calculated and thought he could prove his ultimately invalid point. You're pathetic, but at least you tried.

  • You do realize MIllia is practically God Tier..and this match was still close.

  • @SluggerJR You also have to realize that kaqn doesn't main Millia, he mains Order Sol/Sol. He subs: Every other character in the game XD. no He mainly uses Millia when he feels like it. He does the same in Blazblue, Mains Ragna but subs: Tsubaki, Jin, and hakumen.

  • @Overture2152 He doesn't sub those characters in BB, he has just used them in a set and if you use a character at all to win, ever, it has to be listed and Millia has a nice amount of time invested into her as do all of the characters that serve as his repertoire do.

  • @SluggerJR even though There are videos of him using Tsubaki, Hakumen, and Jin. And the fact that Kaqn has a separate player card just for Jin. that and now in Extend he has a pretty high PSR count with Jin. (yes I know Extend hands PSR out like Candy.)

  • @Overture2152 Yes because you think friendlies and Pound games count as tournament credits and are comparing multiple months and versions of Blazblue to further your point which is still ultimately incorrect. His tournament set listing is not RAGNA/Tsubaki/Jin/Hakumen. They interchange every event, with Ragna/Jin being his actual Main/Sub. He also used Hazama for a few set, so if you are going to compare games over that much of a span, that should be listed also.

  • @Overture2152 Order Sol don't exist in Vanilla GGXX. His main was Millia back then. Order Sol from Slash and onwards.

  • @blzdout Was O. Sol balanced? I always had some questions about that.

  • @HinataChan30 Not so sure about #Reload. Vanilla however...he was like top 5 characters. Mostly due to that lame dustloop for free damage.

  • @blzdout well yeah i knew that. i meant kaqn's normal Sol.

  • @Overture2152 Kaqn didn't main Sol in vanilla or #reload.....Millia in one game. Jam in the other.

  • @SluggerJR Millia? God Tier? In Reload? Lol. And who the hell Eddy, Jam and Slayer are?

  • Wow, that was a VERYYY Close game.

  • Was Daigo the stupid hair bitch or the samurai fag?

  • @smeatface ....

  • @smeatface I never heard of any samurai using a western style claymore as a weapon first and foremost. Secondly Daigo's only character for this game is SOL BADGUY otherwise known to you as the samurai fag.

  • @smeatface lol you're a streetfighter fanboy. chill dude.

  • In this video's comment section: people that can only talk about others while failing to improve their own game. l2bproductivescrubs.

  • Daigo tends to overuse his dragon punches, I've noticed.

  • Daigo in GGXX = Dust loop.

  • All I ever hear when sol does that flame sword move is "DUMPLING!!!" "DUMPLING!!"

  • Daigo isn't the god of Guilty Gear...but he stills with the title "God of 2D Fighting Games"...and any of these top players youre saying is called like this (y'

  • @torsetboom123 God of 2d fighting game is mago~

  • @sa1227 2d fighting game god is daigo. whether you agree or not, thats what every magazine, arcade, pro players call him in japan.

  • @lupinyonsei 2-D fighting games? You mean Capcom games? He's never been top level at anything other than SF and MvC, and while he is great at those, he's nothing close to the king of 2-d fighters.

  • @louman7777777 ahahahahaha. vampire saviour? his 287 win streak before the arcades had to close? The fact that he dominated tournaments with his secondary characters?

what about all the different sf games? the classic street fighter, sf zero, cvs, cvs2, sf3, etc etc. thats a whole bunch of games.

your a joke. if you dont know the history than just keep your mouth shut

  • @lupinyonsei Vampire Savior is a Capcom game...

  • @djmixah Yes and the greatest I have ever played. Forgive my interuption, but I had to speak the truth.

  • @louman7777777 He's never been top at MvC...

  • @lupinyonsei Wrong. Get off of his dick. He's an average player in everything except ST an SF4. He's mediocre at 3S compared to Ino, Boss, Nica, Kuroda, Tokido, etc. Even Pierrot rapes him. Big fucking deal, he did that Evo moment... Things like that happen all day in Japan. Sako beats him at Vampire easy, Shooting D's ST Ryu is a lot better than his. 3S he's average. Nobody touches BAS in CvS2. Tokido is overall better at every game except ST and SF4 than he is, AND he plays 3D really well.

  • @djmixah read the post you dumb cunt. "whether you agree or not, thats what every magazine, arcade, pro players call him in japan".

I never said he's the best in every fighting game. and btw, mago, nuki and most japanese pros you know of today were daigo fan boys. go look up their interviews.

and lmao. sako? thats like saying messi is better than pele (which he is)... but only cause messi got into the game after pele developed the game. Sako came into action when the saviour boom was dying out

  • @lupinyonsei lol, you mad?

  • @djmixah lol you got owned. cant even respond now can you faggot. yeah thats right. keep your mouth shut faggot. LMAO

  • ogawa, n-otoko, shonen, rf, fab, inoue would make my top 6 XD

  • daigo only plays good fighting games not blaz blue cough

  • @CydonianKnights11 If you think BB is bad then go play Shit Fighter IV

  • @CydonianKnights11 to his, his own. I'll play my BB and you can play your street fighter

  • the same daigo that play with ryu in sf?

  • @MegaMustaine89 Yes, the same Daigo.

  • dat dustloop.

  • you can call em a troll for this...but is this daigo from street fighter?

  • is kaqn the same player who plays ragna in Blazblue?

  • Come on kaqn!!!

  • damn that millia was beastin!!

  • Kaqn should have won XD

  • I find today's kaqn much more of a beast (@ BB) han Daigo ever was or is (@ 3S, SF4).

  • Is this some kind of an earlier arcade release of SLASH? I haven't played slash myself, but all I can see in other videos is that Sol doesn't have the dustloop any more, only the sidewinder loop.

  • @reixo This is the first GGXX. After that came Reload, than Slash, than Accent Core.

  • @reixo Yeah, you'll find that Sol lost his dustloop (pretty much) after #R.

  • UMEHARA GA KIMETAAAAAAAAAAA

  • Two beasts, Biting each other,in the face, epic.

  • I was so rooting for kaqn. I play Millia and he's damn good with her. A really close match.

  • Two legendary players of many modern games (and some older ones too), it's a shame neither of them were near the best in GGAC. Oh well, they can settle for being the best at SF4 and BB respectively.

Daigo openly admitted that he had a lot of trouble keeping up with the execution of top GG players, and that's why he didn't stick with the series.

  • @Necrolic555 link?

  • @Necrolic555 The reason he quit is no dustloop...he rq'd

  • @ikarugalover674

It'd be nice to see people stop giving credit to Daigo just cause he's good at Street Fighter. He's not that good at this game in all honesty.

  • @Siberianhusky89 yeah. But its pretty interesting to see Daigo to play a completely different game though.

  • @ikarugalover674

I guess. It just kinda pisses me off that people act like he's good at the game when he's just nothing special. People act as if fighting games revolve around Street Fighter and Capcom, but forget that other fighting games exist that are really good. Professionals do play other fighting games sometimes, it's not surprising. Heck, Justin Wong's played Arcana Heart at a tournament before. He wasn't very good and the announcer was hugging his dick.

  • @Siberianhusky89 people who think Daigo is good at Guilty Gear should shut up. Compared to other players in Japan hes not that good. People some times cant see a very good player in there eyes. Like the example about justin in arcana heart. Man some people should grow up and stop dick riding

  • @ikarugalover674

Exactly. Thank you! If you guys want to see some REAL players, look at Miyako, Lime-Key, Miyako and the many other great Guilty players. Also, for those who think he's really good for how long he's been playing, he was playing way before Accent Core and STILL got destroyed in it.

  • @Siberianhusky89 Daigo has excellent skills on street fight so im not surprised that hes not very good at guilty gear still there two completely different games. I dont know if this is a good example, but Kaqn plays sf4 and hes not at it.

  • Yeah. People give too much credit just based on one game.

  • even though daigo is good i think kagn shouldve won. i think that milia also takes low damage for some reason since the guy kagn landed so many hits. i would think sol would be dead after that last round.

  • It's odd though. This was quite a whiles back and Kaqn's main isn't even Millia I'm pretty sure. If Daigo was to play Guilty Gear now though, he'd get his ass handed to him.

  • daigo as in the daigo umehara????

  • Yes? What's the big deal. He's good at Street Fighter. If you're so impressed, wanna hear a story? One day, Daigo got his ass handed to him in this game and quit Guilty Gear cause of it.

  • @Siberianhusky89 ooohhhohooo is there a video of it in youtube, i would love to see that.

  • @YESthisnamesnottaken

There is. He doesn't go insane or anything and if I'm not mistaken, I think he was playing against a Potemkin player. He just kinda walks off a little upset.

  • 1:22

geez, even at guilty gear he Umeshory SRK-->FADC-->Combo

  • Gotta love kaqn

  • The Millia one make surely some good crossups O_O

  • insanityyyy teeheee O.o

  • I want to see Daigo play Blazblue

  • @Kuya1991

Actually, theres some footage of him playing continuum shift as a Pink Ragna I think

the videos got poooooorr quiality tho.

  • Why? I hardly wanna see him play this. I've seen better Guilty Gear players than him by a million. Jeez, you give a man a prize for being good at one series, then you give him all the credit in the world. Is that how things work now? Also, Street Fighter isn't the only fighting game out there, it's not even the best in my honest opinion, just the most popular.

  • daigo is just a retard who like spam uppercut in GGXX which is best ver for Sol 's uppercut

that 's why he change to go SF4 and become a famous one in SF4

  • @Th3SilentOn3 IT´s not like thats years ago s and he switched probably at that time to CVS2 and 3s. He could if he wanted also master GGXX no doubt about such kind of a player.

  • @raxzar: I don't remember where, but he's admitted that he had quit GG because he believed that wasn't good at it and also mentioned the fact that he wasn't good at CVS2 either. I'm not saying that he couldn't have mastered it but he was unwilling to. Perhaps he was stuck at that level, if you know what I mean.

Don't get me wrong, Daigo's one of my favorite 2D fighter top player of all time but you just can't simply give out such excuses.

  • @4znBoiix

He got his ass handed to him. That's why he quit.

  • @Siberianhusky89 Sums up what I've said. Short and sweet, hahaha.

  • Oh my god. You should see him in Street fighter 3. He's amazing.

  • DAigo got that clutch Grand Viper!

  • Always a joy to watch Kaqn fighting :3

  • Sol's sidewinder loop here is so powerful and can be connected into any string if you have 50% tension lols

  • have to agree with you considering cammy can cannon spike any tiger knee. and ex through fireballs or ultra through them.

  • Love Millia

  • lolwut? Daigo plays Guilty Gear now? Taking over street fighter and the such isn't enough? xD

  • I was pretty amazed too but this was back in the day '04-'06. He should get into Blazblue... maybe...

  • I have to agree. I could see him wrecking balls with Ragna. or, if he REALLY wanted to get into heavy reflex timing, he could pick up Hakumen, and counter everyone to death, lol.

  • He used to, but I think he quit when they removed the Dust Loop.

  • he plays slash and dustloop was removed in slash he only quitted i think because he wasnt tornament level

  • FUCK..daigo won at a game he barely plays..

  • Nope he was actually playing gear seriously 2004

  • Daigo didn't "barely play" GG when it was released. He played it alot around 2003-2004, but as time went on he slowly wasn't able to compete at a tournament level anymore so he dropped the game somewhere around the mid-life of Slash.

  • wait when the game came out he was able to hold a tournament level on it before but time went by he couldnt compete at tournament level anymore is that right I dont know

  • LMFAO @ 1:22

  • Ogawa is better than daigo in GG series

Daigo is good but in SF

  • Why is this comment getting so many negatives? It's true. Daigo was good, but there are a lot of better players out there in GGXX. For instance, Ogawa (eddie), FAB (Potemkin), Daguro (robo ky)...etc.

  • too many daigo dick suckers.

  • do you know any good player that main Chipp?

  • I know a good player who mains Chipp. Though, he rarely plays fighters now and he never played a tournament, so he's unknown.

  • susumu i think thats his name hes in an EPIC match against sol just type sol vs chipp finals on youtube and u should find him. pretty beast

  • Susumu

  • Like Maraxusofk says, Daigo has way too many fanbrats who will defend him.

  • Don't forget Woshige, Miyako, and every other player that's a billion times better than Daigo : )

  • @LUEcifer where can i find Daguro match with robo ky? I always wanted to see Robo Ky in action but can't find it :(

  • @maxtergundam

Just look up Dogura in youtube. I misspelled his name in my prior comment.

  • @LUEcifer I think they sucked on Daigo, coz they comment like hell. lol

  • ogawa is the king of guilty gear

  • @ikarugalover674 Yes,but Daigo is the god beast of guilty gear

  • @555haduken Daigo is NOT the "God beast" of guilty gear. He quit the series because he couldn't keep up with the top players.

Doesn't sound like a God to me.

  • @ToxicTeapot

He's called that because of his prowess in many, MANY fighting games.

He got his starting debut on Vampire Savior (Darkstalkers).

  • @ToxicTeapot He quit because the game has no mind games its just attack attack. He said the game is good its just not for him.Had nothing to do with the bullshit your talking about.

  • @ToxicTeapot

He quits cause that Game got no mind games, u fag!

  • @Tr0llH3R0 I'm going to assume you're doing what your account name suggests, otherwise you're just an idiot.

  • @ToxicTeapot

    im totally serious BRO

  • @ToxicTeapot

That's not true. Daigo stopped GG because he was also playing other games at the time (CVS2, 3rd strike, 2X) and it was not possible to acheive and maintain a top level in all those games. He made a choice and let GG go.

  • @ToxicTeapot thats not true daigo actually has won first in guilty gear tournaments i think he just chose to focus on street fighter because he is better at it

  • @ikarugalover674 eddie is the king of GG

  • What you're saying is that someone was only a good player because they used a highly effective combo which their character possessed.

Its like saying Mike Tyson was a great boxer just cause he used his fists.

You're entitled to have an opinion; irrationality, on the other hand, has no excuse.

  • Daigo is good with Ryu because he knows the spacing and zoning game exceptionally well. He also doesn't crack under pressure. He knows when to attack and when to hang back and he rarely misses combos.

  • I realize that. I was just making a point. :p

  • the millia player was a lot better than sol daigo, its a shame he lost to someone with less skill than him

  • lol dude, do you know who Kahn is?

Look him up, Daigo found that he wasn't tournament worthy enough in Guilty Gear, that's why he quit, he's much better at games like CVS 2 or SF Third Strike and such. Guilty Gear is almost a different planet. Kahn however is one of the top heads of Guilty Gear play.

  • i know he quit, i was just comenting about the video, daigo is and average good player on games like guilty gear, thats why i say the millia player loss to someone with less skill than him

  • reminded me of a C. Viper vs. Sagat match in SF4. That Millia player is good, but it takes alot to do decent damage, while Sol is more of a heavy hitter.

  • Defiantly is. After seeing his Order Sol and Ragna play. Probably Top 10.

  • damn that was a good match!

  • even though daigo won...jeez props to millia, damn...millia, jeez that was a good millia

  • Watch Woshige.

  • @AcousticSpade its kaqn, hes like a beast, i follow him in blazblue a lot

  • @mrhon yeah this was the first ever video i saw of kaqn, to me he's pretty much god. Unlike daigo who is good at very particular characters, kaqn seems to be able to play em all, incredibly well...his ragna is simply amazing

  • @AcousticSpade yeah, his ragna is gg, lol

  • Probably best millia ive ever seen

  • you know after a while guilty gear "slows down" ?

Well, i know these guys are amazing because the game looks fast when they play.

  • Indeed, this is one of the best Millia players I have ever seen, and despite the games being close, it never looked like Daigo had to break a sweat, where it looked like kaqn was working for every break he got.

You could say it's because Sol is good (which he really is), but you take that Millia play we saw in the vid against any level lesser opponent than Daigo, and that Millia wins every time. Hands down.

  • It's not the charactor, it's the guy playing it who makes him look good. This video is pretty evident that either charactor's combos can be abused but daigo is just a beast.

  • lol, GGXX was so broken... shame sol isn't god anymore :(

  • To the downvoters this isn't entirely incorrect, things are much better in GGXX #Reload and the subsequent revisions.

  • Oh, pssh.

Sol only had incredibly faster recovery times, overly huge damage, high priority with easily spammable attacks, and a rather high health count.

    Broken?

    ...pretty much.

  • That's why the pros banned him, oh wait.

  • As someone who plays Sagat, I can tell you straight forward he isn't broken. Sure, he's practically like a powerful machine gun. However, there are alot of weekness to Sagat that's very easy for the opponent to exploit if the Sagat players don't know what they're doing. Same with Sol. I go against a really good Sol player in the Guilty Gear series and found that there are openings that can be taken advantage of.

I say those openings are enough of a balance for those characters.

  • "plays Sagat"

Every time... Every bloody time someone tries to explain that Sagat isn't an overly powered Top Tier, they're always Sagat players...

Seriously, you're just making me think worse of SFIV.

  • This has nothing to do with Tiers. As OviasMire and Guayaba said, Cammy is an excellent example of a character that can easily take out Sagat. I don't mind admitting it. Hell, I've lost a few times to a Cammy player, and alot of times against Balrog/Bison. Sagat takes alot of skill to use in all Street Fighters because of a low number of invincible frames, average priority, low speed, and high delay. Even his repeated projectile use is dodgeable.

  • "Hell, I've lost a few times to a Cammy player, and alot of times against Balrog/Bison."

"I don't know how tier listings work"

  • Yeah, SF4 is a disgrace. Anyhow, let's not discuss Sagat or Street Fighter here, I'm more concerned with this stupid notion that somehow, Daigo is one of the best at Guilty Gear even though he'd get his ass cleaned to the floor by top players in Japan that play Guilty Gear seriously. People in America seem to have a weird complex that if you're great at Street Fighter, you're great at every other fighter. SF4 didn't increase the Fighting fanbase... Just the SF fanbase... *Sigh*
