Halloween was created by the Catholic and Protestant churches to convert pagans to Christianity.

Christmas was placed in December, rather than the historically more accurate September, to do the same thing.

Partying can be innocent and non dangerous if children are educated in how to do so.

Halloween has nothing to do with Satan, the pagans had never heard of "Satan" until they were converted to Christianity.

Halloween is most certainly not a satanic holiday, atleast it has nothing to do with what wiccans celebrate on that date. It is devoted to remembering those who have passed over. Friends and family are thought of on that day.

It is (believed) to be a time of the year when the wall between the living and those that have past it at its thinest and for that reason it is a time for communicating with those who have died.  It has nothing to do with Satan. Neither wiches or wiccan believe in satan
