  • excellent as always! keep 'em coming!

  • My favorite aircraft to fly! Old and simple :) Bummer the 787 is comming up with all of it's TV's in the flightdeck... i wonder if you'd be able to watch Youtube on them. I think they should upgrade the -300ER its cockpit to the cockpit of the -400 and keep the rest like it is.

  • Are your engines PW or RR ?

  • @boeing757200american is this airline is British Airways ( the one I think it is ) are RR

  • @TheBadameco oh.. thankyou

  • @boeing757200american no. as you can see at 5:44. in the checklist is " DHL ". DHL 767 uses PW

  • @TheBadameco thanx

  • how long was this flight?

  • airline?

  • please, more videos of the B767 ( I love B767 )

  • Please, more videos like this!!!

  • @dima767 I'm gonna try.... :-)

  • @CaptYanknBank Was this a 767 200ER or a 300ER model?

By the way I truly think that this video is the best 767 video on the internet!

  • DHL Boeing 767-3JHF(ER)(WL) G-DHLG :)))) :P

  • question; why is the camera in front of the the first officer?

  • wonderful!! this is how it have to look like

  • very detailed...thanks

  • Great video! I envy you guys so much!

  • one question why do you bring the gear up at a positive rate?

  • @TeamLeftmatch777 Ho, apols for late reply, it has to be a positive rate so as to make sure there is no sink back down to the runway. we need to see a positive rate of climb on the barometric altimeter as well as the VSI.

  • Hey Captain, why does the cockpit of the 767-200 and 300 have such an odd layout (eg PFD and Nav Screen directly on top of each other)? I find it very distracting.

  • @bigwhiteflakes Hi, Not sure why the configuration, guess it was the one best suited at the time when they designed the avionics. If the screens were side by side then the other primary instruments would be too far apart. Bear in mind this is a 1970's design and the first of the EADI/EHSI systems.

  • @bigwhiteflakes Well, my guess would be to maintain the basic "T" arrangement. All airplanes of the past have this bsaic T setup (ADI in the center, Speed & altimeter to either side and the HSI at the bottom). The boeing 767 is one of the first airliners with computer displays, so they comined the "new" with a set up wich was familiar to them and most pilots.

  • @bigwhiteflakes Whats so "odd" about it....??? Thats the way the 'basic six' has been configured/laid out for the past 75 years...only just recently in the past 15 years or so with the switch from the smaller CRT to larger LCD flight displays has the display configuration changed...but keep in mind, the screens might be side-by-side on the newer LCD EFIS, but the HSI is still actually below the ADI, if you look closely...

  • It seems that It was a very heavy weight (payload) aircraft, as it seems from the long takeoff and the elevated nose appeared on the EADI. Nice video.

  • Hi Revowild. We use the captains side radio as the primary radio for atc. ie box 1. This also saves confusion of using more than one radio. We have 3.

  • in all the videos i watch i always see the first officer change the radio freq on the captains side. why is that?

  • Brilliant video! i must say it is also refreshing to see more hand flying than just handing control straight over to the autopilot. i am not an airline pilot, at the moment i only fly cessna 152/172s, and the most satisfaction i get after doing a flight is the flying itself. Brilliant 10/10

  • Thanks so much for that, was a brilliant video. Loved how you showed little things that I've not seen in such detail in other vids...like how you have to lift the flap handle slightly before moving, and the use of VNAV speed intervention on the MCP.

Really clear video as well, even on 360p! Keep them coming mate!

  • His captain! This is amazing for all of us aviation amateur and aspiring pilots. I wanted to become a pilot myself but couldn't convince my wife. Anyway, I just had a few questions: what n1 percentage is the thrust set for lift off? What is your vertical speed hold for climb and what was the climb speed? Thank you!

  • great videos man !!!! very nice of you too take the time to record the vids and share o youtube. When im a pilot i will do the same lol...

  • @MrAaront703 thanks in advance ;-) certainly a great video!

  • Lovely. It looks better from the front than out the sides.

  • where were u flying from and to?

  • Pretty cool that he handflew for a while. Love to see that! Great vid as always Capt!

  • i wish i was a pilot

  • Capt, this is amazing! There will be so many flight fans so happy to see so much detail in this video. I can tell you really love flying. Please, I hope you're not breaking any regulations or get into trouble for filming. Thanks and happy skies to you!

  • wow, thanks for sharing! You guys are the definition of efficiency!

  • @frequentairbusflyer8 That's very kind of you to say. I love the job and it helps....

  • Great video skipper, are you current on both the 757 & 767 or just the latter ?

    keep up the great work

  • @777cpt Current 757/767, they're extremely similar. Thanks

  • Hello Capt!! Thanks for the great Videos!!

I know this might sound silly, But I still get nervous being on a plane when there's unexpected turbulence!! Is it dangerous or am I worrying unnecessarily??? Thanks.

  • @freddytitmus These big jet aircraft are incredibly strong and are capable of withstanding incredible amounts of turbulance. The best thing is if you're seated, always have your belt on. We do...:-) If you get a window seat over or behind the wing, watch it change as you take off and watch it as you're going through turbulance, they're an amazing piece of engineering............

  • Thanks for the video captyanknbank :) good one!

  • @Matt007b You're welcome............

  • Man. I've been waiting for this since like for ever! Going to watch it now! =)

  • @gt5004life Hi, it's been a while since i've posted, enjoy, will try and get some more on soon, cheers........

  • @CaptYanknBank Yeah, as I said in a PM, I love walkaround and preflight videos in general! =) Cheers...

  • You didn't have much left of the runway... :)

  • @immortalisblog Hi, every time we do max weight take off which is pretty much every flight, it amazes me that supposedly, we'd stop for any emergency right up to V1, when I look at the runway remaining I kinda think, yeah right...!!! But the do talk of brake energy in millions of foot pounds...!!!

  • @CaptYanknBank must be a great feeling when you apply full throttle at takeoff...

  • nice and interresting video!

  • @AirbusA330Pilot Thanks, it's not easy wealding a camera while you're doing the functions but it was a bit of fun.....

  • @CaptYanknBank lol :)
