  • I'd say dropping the mag and taking the gun apart was stupid.. but that is what actor boy did in the movie so I can't criticize.. even though I'd feel safe since I am behind my keyboard in momma's house across a whole ocean away from europe and you guys. I really like your beard thing you got going on. Cheers from Texas.

  • i laughed my ass off when you said fucking critics

  • superb man ...... these tricks are awesome.......

  • if i just concentrate on the cqc teqniqes that the boss tought me ...o.O

  • YEA!!! :D GO NEW ZEALAND!!! ;)

  • I would never recommend stripping the gun after taking it. How do you know he's not packing another gun or a knife and second what if he has gun toting friends around the corner you just threw away an asset to your survival. In my opinion that would be like finding a full bottle of water in the desert and then dumping all of it on you head and not drinking a drop. Just my 3 cents. All in all amazing videos :)

  • @wally2296 That's why it's in a movie..lol

  • @TeamWuJin I know I'm just putting that out there for all the youtube warriors who might not have the common since to never use this in a real life situation.

  • @wally2296 have you watched the movies? he never does it in a fight. ive seen all 3 movies and ive only seen him strip the gun once after he already took out two cops

  • @steriods4champions yeah, jet li only does it in lethal weapon.

  • @wally2296 Its a symbolic gesture, saying, the fight is over, and I ended it. and it mostly belong in films

  • i obviously misinterpreted the scope of the video which is GUN TRICKS. i just think about the time guns have been pointed at me from a close engagement distance all i think about is not getting shot. if i WERE in fact to disarm i'd simply shoot back. i'd also go for my knife quick! and go for a vital wound.

  • I love watching these videos, honestly, always something new to think about and add to training :)

If you haven't yet, check out Russian martial art, Systema, it's pretty darn good too, fairly unusual at first, but works great!

Thanks for posting the videos btw...

  • @Spetsop swnd me a systema link....some videos are the fake one i guess

  • Interesting, but I reckon the true answer to any "how does Jason Bourne do X?" question is lots of (very good) correography and SFX, especially in the editing. Like on the DVD there's a vid of them making the 'Embassy Scene' and the actors' actual movements are all 1/2 to 2/3 as fast as what you see on screen.

With that Glock breakdown, I'd be surprised if it wasn't a modded prop so the slide just comes straight off. Still, fun to watch :)

  • I've seen that in some form of Krav Maga, they combine the disarm with an attack to stun the opponent. Anyone think its worth the extra thinking you'd have to expend on putting it into effect?

  • @taskforce437 I don't really think there's such thing as a right or wrong way.. just a more effective one :-)

So as long as you get achieve the desired goal/outcome (ultimately survival yes?) then anything goes right?

  • Another great video. It really made a positive

difference when you started using asian giants : )

  • Love your videos, love the no bull shit approach you use. Personally, if I was able to disarm someone with a gun, I'd beat the fuck til they were unconscious (with the firearm theat is) then run and dump the gun.

    Great stuff.

    Thank you

  • Thank you for the clip but generally in martial arts clips it would help to every once in a while see the move in slow motion. That way you don´t need to stare in hyper attention at what is being done because of the tempo of the moves.

  • @chrophe there are videos of me doing the disarm slow.. the other side of the coin is, you do it too slow, shit dribblers say 'your too slow' lol.. can't please everyone can ya ? lol

  • about the Jason Bourne movie..since we are on the subject.. that fight against the assassin with the pushdagger in the appartment in Paris. I always wondered about the differences in dealing with pushdaggers versus normal knifes. is there significant differences to defend against them? did you cover this somewhere in the videos?

  • ya its a cool trick, definetly works best with berettas, the glocks are much more difficult.

  • @ACLincorperated Apparently, you can strip a beretta without taking it out of the assailants' hand- with a mag in and a round in the chamber.(but why?) I've also seen in Krav Maga, they combine the disarm with say a punch or other attack to stun the bugger before you shoot or run away.

  • @ACLincorperated Apparently you can strip the Beretta without taking it off the other guy (yes, mag in- round in the chamber and I know- Why?)

  • @taskforce437 Didn't Jet Li do that in the last Lethal Weapon movie?

  • @428ghost Yeah, but in that they really did stage it. the button had already been pushed, the lever dropped, all He had to do was whip it off the gun. He's cool and fast, but not that fast. (If He is, I'm scared)

  • great video luke keep up the good work but i do have a couple of questions 1 is it possible to pull a slide of a gun like jason statham did in the movie the transporter 2 are those real guns or training guns ok talk to ya later bye

  • I wish you would have spent some time showing the disarm, not the simple gun dissasembly

  • @madogblue I have a number of videos on Gun disarms..

    Step 1) grab your mouse

Step 2) Click on my channel 'TeamWuJin'

Step 3) Search through My uploaded videos and choose what interests you

    Step 4) have a nice day! :-)

  • Mate we learnt his in the navy, but is hard as hell to do and was always a last resort. Good to see that you emphasise the point that it is a last resort..

  • WTF?!!? u wouldn't put his own gun on him? i watched the entire video wanting to understand. we're not all Luke Holloway...sad but true. I liked that u were using what looked like a real Glock. Don't know about the 92 though. Now correct me if i'm wrong but taking down a glock wouldn't be possible with a round in the chamber, right? and the trigger in a 'ready to fire' position? i didn't understand Sifu. shouldn't u stay in character even if trying to field strip. u know by staying on guard?

  • @paikmendez chill man, the fact is we are not all Jason Bourne, that was the point of this.. showing that to take the gun a part isn't hard but to attempt it in real life is impractical. You are right about the Glock and you would have noticed I edited it, simply too much talking.. the vid was already over 6mins and I wanted it to be a 1min video but then I had to cover my arse with the safety responsibilities etc. At the end of the day, this way just answering a question.. peace

  • @TeamWuJin

I shot one of those glocks on my 21st birthday at a gun range in california. It's a really powerful gun, the recoils is nuts and scary as hell too. Disarming a gun, not at all surprising to see technique go out the window. Nice vid.

  • @GraveRave agreed. :-)

Actually the Glock (in general) and the 17 in particular was one of the most commonly used pistols as you can get a nice high grip to control that recoil. That's one thing I do like about it.. but remember, it's not the weapon it's self, it's the one holding it ;-)

  • @paikmendez fuck sake, just showing how it can be done and that it should stay in the movies. realisticly you'd disarm and use the gun to take control of the situation

  • @minicrop well put, agreed. :-)

  • finally!! It's about time you showed yourself safety checking the gun on camera! lol
