They sell those boxes on ebay. type in hellraiser box. they used two types in this vid - the solid block one and the rotating one (you can see the joints really clearly tho) . also google 'the pyramid gallery'. its got loads of boxes
"time was spent" vs time is being spent are two different ideas. Given the amount of time that this project has been taking and the length of time it has been in editing and still is not complete, one has to question the dedication to the project in getting it finalized and out for viewing. An unfinished project is as good as an unrealized project.
Its easy to critise something, a lot harder to get up of your backside and actually make something like this.
The film has been completed as i understand it, inbetween work and other commitments, so obviously has taken longer to complete, where are your completed films may i ask? i would say either put up or shut up, you sound like a frustrated media student
LOL, not even close to frustrated media student. I just happen to think that if you are going to do a project such as this, you need to prioritize your goals and perhaps be a bit more efficient in their execution. A good example would the musical score for the movie, instead of creating a thread to figure how to get music to another person, you get off your ass and ship the music via mail if you have to or you make a torrent for them to be able to download it from you. -more
-continued It is that lack of efficiency in getting the project to completion that I am thinking about when I question the dedication to the project itself. As for my completed films? I am not a film maker and if I was, I would be loathe to make fan films of someone else's ideas and mythos. I would prefer to develop my ideas and give them life, not life to anothers work.
As for the ellipsis, I can see the point of using them to impart the feeling of a dramatic pause in the text but, they do need to be at the end. If they are at the beginning they are more likely to denote information excluded.
As for the font, I would have to say to me that it feels like it was either default or one of the more common fonts chosen.
All in all I would have to say, given the amount of time that has passed with editing and the work involved, I expected more from the trailer.
The time was spent on the main film, not a short teaser though. It's literally just a teaser for a fanfilm. As for the blank space... no idea. ecause my file doesn't include it and just seemed to appear when it was uploaded. Go figure.
Several things, First, you need to edit the dead space at the end of the video out. Second, you need to rethink your usage of the ellipsis. They do not go at the beginning, they go on the end. Third, I would suggest you do not use that style text cards in your final edit, they are as one would say weak. What I would suggest is finding a different font, one that does Hellraiser justice and moving away from that blue, it's over done. From there, as I said lose the dead space from 1:26 on.

How do I get a copy of this movie?

Looking nice there.
A couple of questions:
1. Where did you get the transforming box?
2. Who did your music?

1. The box was provided by a friend, I am not sure which purchaser he used.
2. The music is actually a track from Hellraiser: Hellseeker. However the final film will have an original score.
