WHY THE F@#$ DON'T THEY MAKE GAMES THIS GOOD ANYMORE. First play through over 30 hours second over 20 and im playing it again now. I love this game everything about it was awesome the charators, additions, dragoons, and story line. Games now days only go for gameplay i shouldnt be able to beat a game i just bought for 65$ in 4 hours screw you sh@#$% game designers. This game is a work of art. Cant believe it got crappy reviews from people too dumb to press X or O at the right time.

dart-awesome main character/ coolest playable dragoon

lavitz- most useful dragoon on the first disc (rose storm) (why couldnt shana die instead?)

shana- annoying as hell

rose- most badass female character ever (also my favorite playable character)

haschel- most badass old man

albert- had the coolest combo (gust of wind dance)

meru- the most useful dragoon for healing (screw miranda and her bow with no combos)

kongol- easiest combos to master

lloyd- my favorite non-playable character

For people who are asking about if its possible to play it on PS3, I'm playing Einhander on my PS3 with my ps1 disc of this game and also metal gear solid 1. So yes, i would assume that it can also read legend of dragoon and any other ps1 game, but not ps2 game because they are still making game for ps2.

You got to know how to use shana, I use to think the same thing bacause once Shana gets better her level be too low, but I trained with shana and I was able to get her dragoon on level five and her dragoon moves is actually the most useful.

Lloyd and Sephiroth could be family. Except for the fact that Sephy wants to ram his planet with a meteor and kill everyone while he laughs like a hyena on crack, while Lloyd wants to create a utopia. Other than that they could be family. Oh and Lloyd would kick Sephy's ass.

I just wish there was more real talking in the game, it's like one or two scene on each disk have real live talking, that voice didnt suit Rose's personality at all, Lavitz was fire with the spear, I wish he didnt die because he was much easier to play with than Albert, Albert is a hard person to play with because of that speed.

I'm playing this game right now, i've never beat it. I almost beat it once (I was on disc 4) but I lost my memory card and i've never been able to find it or covert it to my PS3.

So yeah, i'm trying to beat it again (i'm on disc 3). I love this game!!! One of the best games ever!!! Dart and Shana are my favorite characters (along with Albert and Rose).

oh and by the way lloyd was never a dragoon..after your fight with the divine dargoon lloyd used the dragon buster to kill him..he steals the dragoon spirit but it didnt recogninze him as it master but he kept it...his already powerful

well technicaly, that wasnt fully zeig, melbu frahma's soul was inside of zeig, keeping him alive during the years of petrification, so eventualy it wore off an zeig figured rose died 11,000yrs ago, so he restarted a life as Darts father, but after the fire in his town, melbu took over, if that makes any sense to you lol

enix was a seperate company back then. and took the oppoturnity to form a deal with squaresoft and merged.

they broke the teams that produced certain games and kinda broke the unity for a moment
