Thanks for the reply. I have another question about the cookies. In the video you made balls and they flattened out when they baked if I just pressed it in to the pan would it not spread a lot outside of my pan?
I just checked out your chocolate drop cookies and was wondering if I could use a yellow mix with chocolate chips mixed in and then use that for the base of this pizza?
@TheCakeMaster2000 Yes, I think that would be fine. The dough is very sticky, but just put some flour or confectioner's sugar on your hands before you press it into your pizza pan, and it should be fine!
@TheCakeMaster2000 Yes, you should be able to slice this pizza after it cools and the put the toppings on. I have a few cookies--peanut butter, brown-eyed, chocolate drop, and others. Just search cookies in bettyskitchen.
Hi Betty On November 23,2010 i am have a Tanksgiving Party at my school can i make the pizza you make but i whant to cook the Rassberry and Blackberry and Blueberry Is the way i am making it okay!
U can glaze the fruit with some melted preserves- that will make a nice glaze.Since most of the fruit we buy these days are tasteless, so I think a little glazing will help!
i was wondering what do you use for the crust, because its a fruit pizza. the cookie down idea is so simple, why didnt i think of that. anyways thank you for showing us how to make this.
@DragonFighter1133 you can use a pizza crust, but to work well as a fruit pizza, you should sprinkle some white or brown sugar over it before baking it.
But I was wondering could you substitute the cream cheese topping with something else? My boyfriend doesn't like cream cheese =/ ( I love it though(= ). And also I don't have a mixer, can I do it by hand?
@sunNary Thanks for the sweet comment! You could use buttercream frosting, instead of the cream cheese topping. I have a recipe on my channel for buttercream frosting--and yes, you can do it by hand.
@sunNary hi sunNary i like using strawberry glaze instead of the icing the . i just thought you might like it , thats what im making tonight lol i hope i helped good luck !! and i just use a sugar cookie crust
that was a great vid but i think u should of cut the pizza befor u put on the fruit so it is easy for u to cut it and also have i think u should have the people who r eating it make them do it themselfs so they can put want they like on it because some people dont like the same stuff
nice pizza...just a suggestion:how about cutting the crust first before adding the toping,so that the decoration stays...oh by the way, you'r the best and I am a day old subscriber...God bless
Hi Betty! I love your videos and really appreciate the variety and tastiness of your recipes. What is that beautiful platter that you're using for your pizza? It's obviously oven-proof... can you tell me where to get one? Thanks so much!
Oh, this is great! You have such a nice voice and explain everything so clearly. I watch tons of cooking videos but I just found your channel today and I think it really stands out as one of the better ones. I'm going to go see what else ya got....
Hmm. I don't know what my mom used to use - maybe it WAS cream cheese icing. However, the more recent recipe I found was 8 oz cream cheese, 8 oz cool whip. You can also make tarts for this by just using a round cookie cutter and baking them in muffin tins...or flat. They both turn out nice. I am going to send you a dessert recipe to try that also uses fruit arrangement.
Either of those bases for the fruit pizza would be good. I like your idea of making tarts and baking them in muffin tins! Thanks for the dessert recipe!

@TheCakeMaster2000You can do it either way. It would not spread outside your pan, unless you spread more at the edge.

Hi Betty,
I have two questions about this great recipe.
Can I pre slice it after it has cooled and then do all the decoration so it will come out nicely?
Also, do you have a recipe for a cookie apart from your nestle toll house one because we don't get cookie dough where I live.
Thanks
