She doesn't respect him and all the time, she goes around parading the guys her mother matched her to and did not protest when her mom told her father in law to sleep in the servants' quarters even though they have lots of available rooms.
OMG! " let me ask you, being husband and wife, does it mean anything to you" How could she ask such a question where she doesn't even know herself. He was a wonderful husband to her but she kept ignoring him, put him down, and always on her mother side. Honestly, she is the one that doesn't know what is a wife and husband is!
