@klaca75 Almost all Nokia phones have bounce built in, however different phones have different versions of bounce. The Nokia N8 and N900 will get Bounce Evolution because it has the hardware to support it. The Nokia 5800, 5530, N97 and etc will get Bounce Touch because it doesn't have the hardware to support superior graphics. A Nokia 6300 gets a 2D version of bounce which I found very addicting in some unexplainable way :P

The phone needs a better processor for emulation, just because it can run good graphics doesn't mean it can emulate well. If you run ps2 emulation on your pc, it will most likely struggle as you need a very fast processor for it, and upgrading your graphics card won't change anything in emulation terms

Not really,the Nokia has a more powerfull processor.The iphone`s processor is limited to 7p/s while the nokia is clocked at 14p/s.Not to mention Nokia`s 1GB of RAM.

@Reeyn92 Both have 600Mhz Cortex A-8 processors. The 3GS has a PowerVR SGX 535 graphics chip, and the N900 has a PowerVR SGX 530. So, yeah, the 3GS is more powerful than the N900. Not by much, though.

And before you ask, the Nokia's second processor is only used for the camera and phone.

The 3GS is actually slightly more powerful than the N900, but they need to keep compatibility with the weaker 3G and iPod Touch 1g and 2g, so developers can't really push it to it's limits.

A few more notes. The Nokia N900 is more expensive than both PSP and DS, but it 'doubles' as a phone and with a carrier, at least a large portion of the price is shaven off. The only downside of Maemo is that it is occupying a consideral part of main memory. However, Maemo is a full blown Linux distro, so it gives more functionality in return. But the point is: It is a very capable gaming handheld.

Now this is more like it. If the Nokia N900 really spawns a viable Maemo platform for software, this could become serious competition. It won't be easy, though. Apple has one serious platform with very cheap games. If Nokia would do that as well and if the games are really good, this may not only be competition to Apple, this may also be competition to PSP and DS. Though not the most powerful, it has more graphics features than these two major handhelds.
