Stella's book " the art of acting" is a must read, I have just done several roles in a play preview tonight and things were so so much better and so speechless compared to my meisner training, the adler technique works for me, but there was so much preparation about the history, bio, i answered as many questions she outlines for the actor in the book, just do it!

I would love to watch this entire lecture of the Adler technique. I've read Adler's book The Art of Acting and because of what I've learned from it it has been the foundation upon which I build my creative process when I'm preparing for a role in a play. But sometimes seeing what Stella is talking about physically displayed by someone or having what she teaches said in a different context as Holland Taylor is doing in these videos is a tremendous help. I would love to see this in it's entirety.
