Sitting in a bar in Houston with John Maw. We knew Seger was playing at the Summit.. Decided to go see him and a security guard let us in for free to catch the last couple songs. That was late seventies. Great time!

I like the bob seger version alot better, but i'll say the same thing i usually say when i hear a well done cover, and thier's was. the greatest form of flattery is imitation, and if you'll recall, the purpose to that whole CD was to pay respect to the the artists who had been influencial to them.

Awesome pics. Love the life story shown here. The is one of my favourite songs ever. To me, this is simply a song about being a rock star, the inside woes. For me it has a double meaning because it's just like what life looks like when I slip into the manic spectrum of my bipolar disorder. It's really powerful especially in that place.
