  • Jennifer Ashe later played Meg on As The World Turns in the 80s. Good actress.

  • I remember watching the Premer. Hard to believe it was in 1983? I watched afew episodes around the Holidays as I was in Highschool at the time. I had no idea the series ended back in 95? I remember Jack and Stacey. I always liked and remembered the actress (Jennifer Ashe, she was cute) that played Lilly Slater. Are there any clips of her of anykind on youtube?

  • I never really watched "Loving" but this theme is very beautiful. I love this type of music. It sort of captures the essence of the title of the soap itself . . . I think. Too bad soaps are going to be extinct within the next 5 years. Too bad . . . there was a time that soaps were good.

  • Can someone please psot more Loving eposides of the early 80"s? Thank You

  • Another dumb mistake.....ABC should have never killed this soap off!

  • I agree. I started watching it during its last 2-3 years on the air. I liked it and didn't care for its change to The City at all.

  • Luke Perry was in this before starring in Beverly Hills 90210

  • This music fits loving. It is loving. Its beatiful, original. It made me feel like I was watching a soapopera. Now soaps are alot like regular tv and don't have the same feeling, but are still fun to watch.

  • it apparently was more popular in NYC than Y&R for much of its run. I'm guessing that's why it stayed on the air so long when it was basically anchored to last or second-last place for its entire run. Can anyone confirm this?

  • As far as I know, it was never permitted to air between AMC and ONE LIFE... though that's how Agnes Nixon wanted it.

  • They should have had AMC at 12:30pm ET and put Loving at 1:30pm but they never did.

  • Do you have the full epsiode? episodes from Doug Marland's eyar are hard to find

  • Thank you!!!

This show sure was excpected to really get the ratings. It was in between AMC and OLTL, and created/written by Agnes Nixon and Doug Marland.
