I live in a large suburb in Queensland with an Aboriginal name; I doubt there are any aboriginals owning homes in it, as I never see any. This is just one example of how we took everything away from them. It is time we gave something back and help the process of reconciliation; we have a long history of disadvantaging the indigenous population and a short history of limited support.
Then why don't you set the example and put your words into actions. Next time you see some homeless Indigenous people - invite them into your home and provide food and shelter for a period of time.
