i had a flux sweet rc nice video i got mine to full speed once, i was passanger in a car and driving the flux in front of us this thing is very hard to control at 110 km pr hr awsome might get another one
how tough is this truck? I have a 1/8 aftershock and love it. Im up in the air between getting the xxl lst or the flux. Just wondering if you have had any issues with this truck?
i recommend the flux for some reason cuz the XL not xxl is nitro and it needs lots of maintenance, the flux on the other hand is electric, as fast as the nitro, less noise, less maintenance, same fun, and the fact that u have an awesome brushless in ur hands feels great!
My Aftershock needs little to no maintenance just the odd part that brakes from bashing.
So I cant wait to see how easy this truck is to run.
Im getting fucking confused with all this stuff about lipo and running the right battery and setting the speed comtrol.
LOL gonna ask my hobby guy because he tought me everything i know about the losi aftershock and hope he can do the same with this truck. I'm Just gettin into this hobby still.
@VirusTornado What is it about nitros that need more maintenence? Once there tuned fot the days run, air filter is all your maintaining. Keep on filling it up and run it hard all day long. I think people assume as it has an engine they require more maintenence but once you own a decent nitro RC you soon see its not that bad at all.
@TheGusto69 Brushless/electric is more expensive with the initial purchase. Once you have the chargers and batteries it becomes way cheaper to run. Nitros have many extra parts that are just not found on electric which need changing (Clutches, Glow plugs, etc). So i agree that they are much cheaper. Besides the "cool noise" Nitros make, at this point there is just no reason in buying them any more.
@chonyc77 Run times are a reason, no stopping between fill ups is a reason. There are some very powerfull nitro engines out there for any size vehicle you want, but people tend to skimp or stick with what came with the kit. Get a Top end kit, buggy or truggy, put a nice .28 Novarossi or something like it in it and you will see similar performance. Yes glow plugs wear, very cheap. Clutches last a long time, a lot of running before needing new shoes.. Etc. Well, like you i cant think of much else
nitro's aren't that hard to maintain if you know what you are doing, it sucks when me and my friend go bashing and his battery dies and my savage x keeps running along
@katokimo That problem would be easily solved with a multiple battery charger. I have a charger which charges 4 batteries (NIMh, Lipos,) at same time. With this setup hooked up to my car battery, I could basically bash all day with back to back Lipos bing ready to go. While nitro made sense a few years back, besides the cool noise Nitros make, brushless has basically taken over the market.
I drove full throttle just for a very short time with the small bevel wheel (20 cogs instead 25 cogs). On loose ground you can drive full throttle, but then there is a lot of wheelspin...
I guess it will with 6 cells LiPo and the 25 cogs-bevel wheel. But to really test that, you probably need to drive with a car besides the Flux, because you reach the RC-operating distance too fast...
Hi.
you have the money for 4 flux's but cant afford a video camera that records sound?

AndreasHein2201 2 years ago
Satansbraten01 2 years ago
Achsoo ok danke :)
AndreasHein2201 2 years ago
Was kostet der ? Ohne Akkus und Ladegerät?
AndreasHein2201 2 years ago

manontour179 2 years ago
keine Ahnung!
Satansbraten01 2 years ago
brushless motor don't come in turns rather they come in kv (turns per volt) i.e. the flux uses a 2200kv motor so at 22.2v it will be doing 48840 RPM

well good vid, so was any of that at full speed?

will it acctually do the 62mph is says then ?

that has to do with your radio more then anything else I have alot of run space for my rcs to get up to speed which included a 65mph buggy

only with two 3s lippo batteries

man ,do you break someb part on your flux??
killermmn 2 years ago 3
Normally the Flux takes all those jumps and smashes easily. I just broke one plastic part. It was a matter of seconds to change it...
Oh, I forgot: The chassis is suffering (as you could see in the video), but you can't avoid that.
Satansbraten01 2 years ago
Awesome video.
What batteries were used ?
elbutchos 2 years ago
My car uses two 3s LiPoly 4000mAh serial, the other car (with the antenna) uses two 5s Lipoly 4500 mAh parallel connected.
Satansbraten01 2 years ago
Do 5S LiPo's fit in the stock boxes without modding ?
CardNox 2 years ago
No, you have to modify the boxes and take off the lid.
Satansbraten01 2 years ago
Ahh thought so :)
