  • Did you ever get your mare looked at? Hope so.

I have watched your videos several times and I think you have a really good seat and legs and very nice soft hands when you ride.

It would be wonderful to see your horse performing up to her potential also, so you both can grow and move up in the ribbons.

    Good Luck!

  • @wonderhorseranch ya she is fine and actually i have moved onto a different horse named Sam (doing some pleasure classes with him) and another girl is showing Penny this year who can handle her better

  • @horseracer676 Cool! Are you gonna shoot some videos of your new horse? I really like the way you ride and bet you'll be great at any discipline you participate in!

  • @wonderhorseranch thank you so much! and yes im going to have my little sis film me, there will for sure be a new video coming out after this show season!!

  • I would have to agree with gcoxalaska that your mare is hurting in her hindend. Its great she is willing to try and do all that you ask her to do and you seem to ride her well. Maybe you could go faster and farther if she was 100%, it couldn't hurt to have her checked out, it might be something simple, maybe chiropractic would help a couple times. Merry Christmas and best of luck to you next year!

  • @wonderhorseranch well since two people have said this i'll probably bring it up to my instructor.....i don't go fast with her for the sole reason of her bucking (i know if i tried to push her she would throw me so i took it slow) but i always thought it was just attitude lol.....if it is lameness is that fixable??

  • Hey Girl, I found your clips... Between you and me, by the way he moves, I think your horse has a minor lameness issue in his hind end .. just an opinion. but it looks like you guys like each other a lot...

  • @gcoxalaska ya she's a lot of fun, although she does like to buck a lot.....but i'm pretty sure she's sound, i mean no one else has ever said anything about her movements and my instructors pretty good at noticing that kind of stuff....i think it's just the way she moves, everyone's different i guess.....i could be wrong though?

  • @horseracer676 I think she has an issue in the rear end and a horse that bucks a lot may be telling you she has a pinch going on back there.. Just an opinion... But have a vet watch this video and see what they say.. Watch another clip of another horse doing poles or barrels and compare. Otherwise just keep having FUN!!!! You look great!
