I think stuff like this, or "Sea" are what make Lau so incredible to me... Pretty much nowhere near any kind of pure drop trad, but it has that at its heart, and it pushes it to such a great level.

It reminds me of post-rock bands that have been appearing a lot recently, like Sigur Ros, Explosions in the Sky, Balmorhea...

I'd like to think of Lau as a sort of "post-trad" band, if there were such a thing.

Totally amazing, their Live album is one of my all-time favorites, never tire of it.
