  • well said

  • mesmerized..... <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

  • Shankar Jaikishan has so much variety in them almost all songs of thier's are different to any of their own compositions let alone others. AR Rahman is just overrated overhyped composer if we were to compare him with SJ . SJ Rocks.

  • yeh raat bheegi bheegi........................

  • thumbs up if u still get an erection :D

  • sexoooo song....

  • 15 year old Canadian Child , born and raised in Canada. I just dont enjoy western music anymore... and new Bollywood music sucks ! Going back to the Classics.

  • evergreen!!love it!!

  • Indian Girl Always looks beautiful in their Own Cultural dress Not in western Look.

  • Oh my god, the indian actresses and actors from before were so beautifull! Nowadays they put way too much make up and there 's no feelings or emotions in their acting skills . God bless the fifties, even though I was not born as yet. Happy that my parents teached me what it means to watch the old movies!

  • My father made me hear all these era songs. Initially I didn't like as I was too young but later they became a part of my life. Listing to them make me rember my father as he is far away from me. Also these songs are like meditation for me

  • @urwithpriyanka ::::::::::same happened with me dear but now its part of my life.

  • Amazing song...

bollywood music used to be wonderful.. i hate how they mix it with english nowadays.

  • This song comes form the time when music was music. love it

  • Nice song

  • when music was music :)

  • I never understand a word of it but this beautiful and captivating music brings me a feeling I always cherish.

  • i realy like this song suuporb

  • awesome song - ever green

  • I grew up listening to these golden songs. The people are all gone but these beautiful melodies would stay in my heart always.

  • @cdphreaker thanks for the post

  • emphasis was on lyrics and melody and not on the orchestra as it is the case today

  • audio out of sync with lip movement

  • nice so nice song lovely voice beautiful

i like this song so much

  • This song reminds me of a beautiful time in my life, dad was still with us, no worries, no stress, anything seemed possible. Atleast listening to these songs i feel I'm reliving those moments even for a millisecond brings me great happiness.

    Peace.

  • i love this song from bottom of my heart. love u our dear raj kapoor sahab

  • I cant imagine how shocked Raj Kapoor would be if he sees what his grandchildren are doing in the industry.

  • WoW!!! after a long time....great song :)

  • listening to this song and looking at Raj Kapoor and Nargis i feel that we have a void in our life with the4 passing away of such greats like these actors, and singers like Rafi, oh the loss is irreplaceable

  • AWESOMEEEEEE.

  • i like this song

    really old is gold...

    wonderful

  • One of the most romantic song between two love birds....an excellent orchestra by Shankar Jaikishan and lyrics by Shailendra....a tribute for this superhit of all time.

  • what a great song....whata suuurrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • Old is gold. Thanks to you tube we are able to hear this song at our wish.

  • I agree that its a very melodious song...

but felt very sad when people commented that new songs are total non sense

rarely do we recognize the beauty of the song when it's new....

i remember in the 90's people used to say that the new songs are foolish, but now even those are played along songs like these in the retro songs......

lets enjoy the old and embrace the new..

  • THUMBS UP IF U R LISTENING TO THIS IN 2011 :)

  • @RizwanPaks ppl like you are know nothing about such songs

  • @RizwanPaks : Very well said. It's sad that new Bollywood music does not invoke that same feeling...But then, I guess the difference is lyrics coming from heart and lyrics written for Money !

  • Reminds me when I was little, one of the many immortal songs that will live forever.

  • @Charles1962ish I agree with you whole-heartedly. It takes me back to my happy childhood days

  • Songwise Chori Chori excels since almost all songs r excellent. A rare feat ! Simple yet so beautiful n touching!!!

  • beautiful song

  • Now seriously tell me people..... kaha Munni aur Sheela......aur kaha yeh....!!!!!!

  • i always thought this movie was excellent ; simple screen play, script and charismatic actors BUT then i happened to come across the USA 1936 movie 'it happened one night' starring my fave actor clark gable and guess what !!!!! scene per scene 'chori chori' has been copied from that hollywood movie. it made me chuckle lol :-D

HOwver, the hollywud movie is not a musical. clark gable is superb in it lol.

    defo look it up.

  • Because bollywood is long bankrupt. If ONLY it could see and hear what it was once. O what a shame. I shut up now and all of you just ENJOY this mesmerizing GEM
