my car is doing the same thing? i have a 95 civic hatch. i tested the battery its good. tested the starter its good. all fuses good. replaced the battery wires and terminols. just the positive not the ground. also tried conecting wire straight to starter power wire plug(tht goes straight to key switch) straight to battery and does samething as in with the key..it makes no noise no click or doesnt turn over..any help???? its 5 speed
check the following and test to factory specs with a good om meter..... the ignition switch, the starter, the fuses in your engine, and maybe even the entire key switch??? check those write me back if you find a flaw with any of the following
if your gitting power then theres nothing wrong with the battery. i couldnt see well or your wiring harness but make sure you got the right harness (no snipping and reconnecting). check your fuse - one of your fuse might have been blown. check the ignition switch relay. that might have gone bad. the only thing thats best to do is go and buy the manuel book and read the ignition switch.
wellhave a look at the battery first might not be connected. or the wiring to the ignition has failed and may need replacing.. could be other things as well but being a 91 could be the wiring like I said.
check your clutch and brake saftey switches will not try to even turn over when there broke also check your ecu for codes

@mtv11000
BASED on the symptoms u have described!
I guarantee u that it will be a $2 part sold @ the Honda dealer that is not allowing your car 2 start.
It is called a Pedal Stopper Pad, part # 46505-SA5-000 .
It is a tiny round plastic / rubbery part about the size of a dime in diameter.
There are 2 located on your clutch pedal and 1 on your brake pedal.
If this tiny piece of crap plastic is worn out, a contact is established and NOT allow the ignition 2 turn over.
TRUST!
