  • the bags are soil samples of radioactive contaminated soil. the jupiter factory was used by spezatom a few years afer the accident. they used the bunker als a lab. have been theme myself. the boxes behind the fence are containing highly radioactive materials, alpha, beta & gamma emitters. we found some plutonium samples for geiger counter testing too... really creepy place. not recommendend to go down there without protection suite and gasmask by now.

  • first object was a water bong, no doubt

  • Thres a weed pipe in 0:46

  • @moonglovv Hazmat suits are for biochemical shit, water and air-borne diseases. Radiation penetrates just about everything in the right doses, so even with the most powerful radiation resistant suit, you could only spend so long in a hot spot.

  • meth lab

  • place looks like our economy, we should trow congress in there

  • Probably just some meds agenst radiation :P

  • probably a vodka & uranium factory

  • blood bags?

maybe in the hospital ? :p

  • Drugs. Nuff said.

  • Holy shit! It's lab x18!

  • The first object (glass) that was just flashed with the light looks to me like a double bubble!

  • The whole city just needs a good sand, prime, and topcoat.

  • looks like a drug factory to the looks of it

  • Looks like a drug den

  • Their making crack :]

  • Looks like uranium in powder or enriched uranium dioxide used in shaped explosive charges. Did you get any names or writings on the bottles at all. The place looks like it had already been raided but that what looks like uranium in the bags should not be there and could well be the result of your guys reaction. If you used a camera and not digital the developed film would be all messed up due to radiation. He could well be telling the truth. If it is uranium powder wel thats worth some money lol

  • @fireicer I'm curious,...would the uranium powder alone be radioactive, and/or would/can it be radioactive because of what happened there.

  • @Chevron704 Yes it is its a gamma emitter, for years its been handled by hand. Although its radioactive, controlled exposure around uranium is safe thats what the personal dose measurement is all about. It becomes deadly when you get it on your skin inhale or swallow it etc its very hard to get the metal out of your body. You can pick it up throw it around the room regardless its fairly safe in small doses. It will send a Geiger counter reading high though. We can control gamma dose safely ish

  • @Chevron704 The problem with uranium is our new finding effects in the commercial mining sector for it. Uranium acts like a magnet for further radiation. If you ingest, get it on your skin, inhale, basically get it in your system it attaches itself internally which then draws in like a big radio antenna further radiation. Its actually as if it was an antenna tuned to the specific frequency of the gamma ray, photon however you wish to look at gamma this in turn changes your DNA causing mutation

  • 0:47 looks like a bong

  • in true russian fashion everything looks 100 times plundered over, even after horrid circumstances as a chernobyl disaster

  • It's not boring... it's interesting...

  • wow i cant believe you went in there with no protection. the whole place is hot and your walking around breathing it in. have you gotten sick?

  • @willowamer only some areas are radioactive...

  • @willowamer

It's safe to be near Chernobyl for short periods of time

  • do you have the address or where you can point out on google maps?

  • Was the factory in Pripyat itself, or in the vicinity of the City?

  • @stefaan10111992 this was on the actual property of the factory. If you'd walk through the main entry gate building, it's directly to the left.

  • @aapinator Did you measure the radiation?

  • @stefaan10111992 Unfortunately I didn't. I didn't bring a Geiger counter with me, only my guides had one. I can't quite recall whether the alarms of their counters went off, or not, and I didn't really care too much about the radiation in there at the time. I'm sorry.

  • @aapinator what was you biggest concern then? :p

  • The bags looks like their filled with a humus-less compost of some kind. and in each you notice there is actually a brown thing that looks like an envelope, what ur looking at is obviously a bio-lab, the jars and things are drug-type rather then compound samples. the bags are clear not black, the substance is black leaving red traces, it makes me think of some kind of bio-mass thats been ionized down to mush.

  • 0:45 = Bong :D:D Just jokin'.

The things in the plastic bags could be gas masks?

But to me it looks like a standart lab for something before the reactor incident.

  • May I please use your footage?

  • @SocialScrewUps What for?

  • @aapinator A little editing test. I want to try out some plugins I just got for Adobe After Effects.

    No commercial use. Just practice.

  • @SocialScrewUps Sure, go right ahead. Good luck!

  • @aapinator Oh my god you're the best! I'll send you the link when I'm done! :D AHHHHH!

  • Seems like medical supplies, gas masks, hazmat suits and such kind of stuff. Also cooking supplies (gas cooker,...). And lots of dirt and junk, but you probably knew that.

  • Its really creepy. I started playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. just to feel Chernobyl, after watching series of documentaries about it . And it feels same as when watching this vid. Im definetely planing my trip to Chernobyl in future, although im scared of damn radiation . btw . this actually looks damn same as x16 lab xD

  • I love the outside shot, i just love the way nature is taking back what is rightfully hers.

  • red mercury iodine???

  • any gas mask in there

  • Holy shit that is creepy wtf was in those bags? o.O

  • @BalooZehBear as i recall from other videos its dirt sampels

  • they look like gas masks -.-

  • Looks like a radioactive playground

  • PLEASE! Can someone tell me whats in those bags?!? I'm really Interested! I want to go there.

  • did you guys have a geiger counter along..this place doesnt look like anywhere id let myself be taken...

  • mayb thers some kind of mutant creature from one of the labs that went loose and he got scared who knows all i know is im definatly goin to go ther and go through the lab place and find what they couldnt

  • That was radioactive as hell, the camera has white spots

  • i watched another video of the same factory minus the basement footage and the creator claims that his tour guide said they made something for nuclear subs. he also said that it was in operation untill 9 years ago. he said he could not find any facts of what the factory was

  • @raroush2288 :o was that one of my video's by any chance? Because that's the exact same story my guide told me. Do you happen to have a link to it?

  • @aapinator what do u think couldve been in those bags and did the tour guide let u touch or take them

  • @jonnboy1234567890 Why should you want to take anything from a place full of radiation? In the video, the guy is touching the railing of the stairs with bare hand, dude, that isnt very smart... What were the radiation lvls inside the building / basement? I really want to go to chernobyl one day!

  • @thiegolc welll when i went it wa low and then when freinds say they went they said it was high so idk

  • @aapinator there is no way that is only 9 years ago , look at the rust and decay

  • what the fuck with this bag at 1:23 !!??

  • It was lab x-16 damnit, YOU WALKED RIGHT INTO THE ZONE!

  • @ReadyRave get out of here S.T.A.L.K.E.R.! This is for educational purposes!

  • @aapinator Critical radiation detected, Protection required to pass.

  • @aapinator DONT PLAY THE HERO...HOLSTER THAT SHOOTER STALKER....

    I'm sorry lol.

  • its too bad you couldn't get clearer shots of the labels on the jars. i could see one said "amylum" which is common starch as far as i know.

  • 0:47

    its a bong!

  • damn there looks to be alot of different stuff there

  • all that buildings I have seen on video are stripped... who did this, how and I thought it was a radioactive zone...

Even a television was re-assembled and standing in a another room as before...

Take the time... in radioactive space

  • @MultiRocker72 Radiation differences, explained crudely :

Alpha is a short-range,low penetrating, but very intense. Dissipates quickly.

Beta is medium-range, with some penetration properties. And dissipates in an appreciable length of time.

Gamma is long-range,high penetration, "relatively" low power. Takes the longest length of time to dissipate.

Ie, the "bio-robots" on the roof where being hammered by all 3 types, despite their lead suits. Most are dead now, despite only 40 second "jaunts".

  • @MultiRocker72 "Gamma" rays, remain longest, and with a high enough level of concentration, could remain lethal for many, many years.

  • De radioactiviteit is te zien op het filmpje

  • @IronHeadMaiden Speak english while the video is in english, dutch bastard.

  • I guess that factory is what GSC based Jupiter Factory off in S.T.A.L.K.E.R Call of pripyat

  • To be honest every abandoned place with no one to take care of it looks "creepy" - the fact of the nuclear plant disaster does not imply that the whole Prypiat was a part of a conspiracy to produce mutant-hero-soldiers in their basements or a human-hybrid-alien-life form kept in a plastic bags... C'mon guys. I played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. as well but I'm not sure if "hunt for creepiness" is the best lesson we can get from it..... By the way, thanks for posting a clip anyway ;)

    Cheers

  • bro you have a great camera. the resolution looks awesome.

  • The crap in the bags might be material/media they used to store uranium capsules in. Depending on the weight of the bag it could even be lead shavings.

  • @Lawlz1210 I don't know about the first part but I highly doubt that it contained lead shavings. They had a big pile of shavings outside, stashed on a pile. Don't think they would stash half outside and put the other half in bags in a basement.

  • @aapinator was the building some kind of medical facility? its possible that the bags had some kind of granulated cleaning agent

  • @Lawlz1210 I think someone else asked about that, that it would be a medical facility. Don't think so though; I mean who would put a medical facility in a basement first of all, and second of all next to a factory? I mean come on, how are people with a wheelchair supposed to get down there? I'll keep it in mind though, thanks! :)

  • it's not that it's to late to rebuild... it's to early. Lots of radiation in the moss and water.

  • After doing some research, I found out that the Factory Has been in use until about 5 years ago, they still used it for some things like Soil, and testing the amount of radiation in it.The bags i think are the bags of soil, But I would indeed like to visit there.. I also found it kind of weird that after the explosion they sent in hunters to kill all the animals in the city, dogs, cats.. probably because of the radiation they were exposed to... who knows, keep posting about new findings guys!

  • go back there....

  • I saw a bong :3

  • heheeey

about 0:45 that was a waterpipe, wasn't that?

  • Those jars a definitely chemical jars. (Chemical Engineering student) The different color of the jars helps block the light to the different chemicals. The bags I have no clue however. I've only seen bags that color to keep light from getting to the material inside it.... maybe its clothing or material of some kind?

  • You said that behind that cabinet there is more radiation than other areas? I got no idea of what these bags are

  • Excellent Video!!! I love seeing new footage of Pripyat...the creepy basement...brilliant!!!

  • Watch the "Chernobyl Zone May 2009 HD 1-5" video, it contains similar bags to those that you found.

According to their guide it's radioactive samples of some sort, either contaminated soil or debris from the core, measuring 10k+ times elevated values, dangerous stuff!

  • that is creepy as fuck...i encourage anyone watching the video to read the description

  • The red substance in the bags could be bakelite. also, if there was something behind the cabinet, it could be a generator or fusion reactor related stuff.

anyways, if you find something else let us know :D

  • I would ask first if you saw anything that may look like that building was a residential area like toys or clothing first. If not I would suspect that you found a chemistry department of sorts wit the containers possibly contaning chemicals in different forms, the shower drain at the end may have been a rinse area for contamination or for emergencies. It looks like it was an office if you have not located any items that may indicate that it was a residential building.

  • There might be some old military testing equipment or something like that [++]

  • I Think Someone Making Drugs There :D

  • crazy....body parts in the bags...

  • Can you get cancer from that place still or is it safe yet? I Have so many things i want to know about that place and some day would like to go there myself.

  • I don't have cancer mate.. Haha, yes it is totally safe to go there now! You can buy tours there, but it's quite pricey. I can highly recommend it though!

  • Why dont they try to rebuild the city? its not to late yet i mean i know it would be hard and alot of money but they restore old places all the time why not this one? If you can answer a few things for me that would be realy cool im doing some history serching on this place and im sure you have alredy done yours. lol

  • The place is still highly radioactive in some points. You can easily absorb the radioactivity in small doses, but once you stay there for an extended period of time, you will get sick. Also, the fruits and vegetables (anything that grows there, pretty much) will be toxic. Once you get the radiation inside your body, you will get very sick very fast. That is because radiation doesn't penetrate deep through skin, but once it's inside your body, the tissue is softer and it can penetrate deeper.

  • I also think that it would be cheaper to build an entire new city that restoring this one. Plus, the Ukrainians make money because many people (like me) visit the country just to see this city.

If you have any other questions, I'll try to answer them to the best of my abilities! :-)

  • @IITECHxNiNEII also rebuilding the city means that they would have to tear down some of the buildings, which could cause another radio active problem...a really huge cloud kinda like the one in the helicopter videos of chernobyl except this one would be big enough to wipe out all of Europe!!

  • @cheekyyonee005 Ohh thanx i really never thought of that:) I lerned somthing new.

  • @IITECHxNiNEII They can't rebuild it because it's still too radioactive to even touch in a lot of areas (esp metal objects and buildings).. the longer you stay there, the more radiation poisoning you get. That's why a lot of kids have birth defects there.

  • what was inside the bags?

  • so did u guys check the stuff and what was it ?

  • No we didn't, that's why I made this video..

  • check it hehe :P

  • wow... who knows... could be anything man. I know I really think like a psycho but it's so freaky like in a weird movie man... I can't help to think that maybe those black bags contain body parts and the chemicals might have been used to melt down flesh and soft tissue. the bags contain the skulls and bones? the radioactivity makes sense in this way; it's the body of many workers that were not reported as officially dead by the government? something political? idk... weird and creepy indeed

  • Yeah, I couldn't prevent that thought from crossing my mind a few times either. Maybe unborn animal (or human!) baby fetuses? O_o

  • man I have planned to go to Chernobyl so many times. I really like to go even if it's creepy and "dangerous"

  • just an abandoned b'ment with plastic bottles who shrinked with the radioactive blast i think! it's well interesting and i hope i can visit the place sometime!just to see how awfully it was that time after the blast!greeting from belgium ;)

  • Hmm interesting thought..! Might be true. Thanks!

  • Okay thanks. :) send me a friend requist i have alot more i wuld like to talk about. Im 17 but in about 3 years i plan on going there. I have been saving up sence i was 15 and first started getting intrested in this place.. Its amazing how this stuff can happen.

  • Maybe agent Mulder can solve this one?

    Great video. 5/5

  • LAWL!!! Unedited...you know all the juicy stuff that editors find too "disturbing" for the viewers.....it';s like squeezing the blood out of a raw steak and just eating the dried pulp...umm, yeah.

  • Footage is best seen like sushi, raw...or heavily undercooked .

  • What does that even mean..? :)

  • ... that is a meth lab my young boy....

    lol jk

  • Comment removed

  • What's durt, lol? And I'm not too sure about that.. it looked like it had been abandoned at the same time as the rest of town.. Plus, you don't do normal research in some barely findable cellar..

    I think at least..

  • crazy sm cellar

  • if it was boring then y did u watch the entire video u idiot its ur own damn fault

  • lol thats cool, but at 1:43 it looks like theres dog poo on the shovel or w.e. it is lol
