I'm sure this infernal woman is based on my bloody sister in law. She's such a pretentious cow and makes everyone feel like a complete under achiever. She even criticised her own husband for attempting his own failed suicide. 'Can't you do anything right' and 'Must I do everything for you' she said!

At 10:10 behind Onslow you can see a bottle of Jack Daniels just to the left of his face in the scene. Kudos Onslow!!! The FH on Onslow's hat, stands for Fulton Hogan Ltd., a New Zealand asphalt and road-building company. ( I Googled that fact ). I think Onslow is a cool laid back bloke who keeps Dicky (Richard) on an even keel!!
