Its a 351 stroked to a 406 on 9psi. It made a lil over 600hp and 600ftlbs. Its my buddies car, he was testing out a new turbocharger that day. New setup is going to be a lil over 1,000 hp :)

Speaking of 3.0 liter engines, I bought a '95 BMW 530i 5speed in 2006 over the phone when my dad (in the highline car business) called me to see if I wanted it. I figured it was a straight-6.

Went to VaBeach and picked it up... it was a 3-liter V8. One of the nicest surprises I ever got buying a car!

If its a road course it's about usable power during high G's. Apex/line control is 100% grip at WOT comming out of an apex. So if the 4cyl = 800bhp and the 8cyl (turbo'd) is making 800 as well the 4cyl is lighter...Dont tell me 800bhp 4cyl's dont exist...Ford Fiesta Pike's Peak...amazing 4wd too

As you can see by this video, has nothing to do with road course racing. And having AWD has nothing to do with the motor being stronger than a v8. Usable power? an 800hp has no usuable power without anti lag that would ruin your exhaust manifold...which it does. But that Ford is sick.

that flutter that u can hear is not compressor surge. It's the waste gate. If you have a big BOV and a Big wastegate it'll flutter like that when you're in boost. It lets the excess boost out so it's not too must pressure.

its not surging. its releasing the boost,through the blow off valve, when the throttle body or carb. . shuts. also you get alot of flapper valve noise from the mustangs, even the original turbo stang svo 2.3 4 bangers. surging in a turbo is not a good thing,and doesnt sound good at all. surging in a turbo will kill it quickly.
