She is very good but did not get it to the level of great, 8.5 over all with maybe a 9 on parts. The problem is not her voice really but her lack of some techniques needed to make it truly great. Great voices are nice but without mastering the right vocal techniques it will always lack something that people can not quite put their finger on.

@3larry13 i guess u missunderstood me. I don't doubt that this girl is a good singer, but her style and voice absolutely does not fit a Janis Joplin track in my opinion. This girl should sing different kind of music, or at least not Janis Joplin, who is unrepeatable, and 9999 of 10000 singer sound extremely pathetic while trying to sing something from her. She's one of the 9999.

Little did I know that her performance of this song would lead to my obsession of the nightly postings here on YouTube of this song from the Idol tour. I marveled at her talent and I looked forward to her 1st album where I thought maybe I would like maybe 2-3 songs on it and that would be it. Much to my delight I love all 13!!!!!! "Just Like You" is one of those rare albums that you don't need to skip even one song. This girl has made me proud that my channel is dedicated to her.

@ Portugal2100 I'm from Portugal too and I really love Diana Piedade (she was my favorite), but Allison Iraheta is better than Diana :) She's only 17th and I think "cry baby" is harder than "piece of my heart" Don't give me wrong they're both great, but Allison is better ;)
