@flyerholland I'm not suggesting that the A320 is 100% faultless by any means. In fact some of the many earliest crashes of A320 family aircraft was because the pilots were not trained in Fly By Wire (FBW) technology and either didn't understand the limitations imposed by the system or chose to override it by switching to alternate law and then f@@king it up themselves. I was just having a go at the naive Boeing fan boys :P
So you've conveniently forgotten the issues with the 737 whereby the servo controlling the rudder jammed causing accidents? And what about the issues whereby many parts for the 737 that are supposedly machined by are made by hand resulting in holes having to be manually drilled thereby causing structural weakness and premature corrosion.
Looks like someone needs to get their head out of their ...
@agjgoz yea i guess so lol.. like the 737 was always flawless... NOTT. new planes have child diseases that can be unfound. nowadays testing gets better and better as does safety.. the a320 nor the 737 is a piece of shit. u can tell by how many there are flying. for both a numer on wich u can clearly say their both a big succes!
A 320 this, A 320 that, blah blah blah, what he doesnt mention is how many have crashed or have strange incidents happen to these planes. The bottom line is that no matter how many A 320 they sell, This plane will no where come close to the service record of the 737, not even close.
@youngfart40 Actually, the A320 series beats both the Jurassic and Classic when it comes to safety stats. Only the 737NG series has it beaten. Source: Boeing Summary of Airplane Accidents '59-'09.
He is going to have carbon fiber fusalarge and wings with a better layed out flight deck. More safety features particularly to keep fuel temperatures steady and about 25 degree and a lot more.
Sounds like a used car salesman. I'll buy everyone on this thread an A320NEO if they actually hit fuel burn and range projections. Physics is my ace in the hole on that bet.
Here comes the 737 MAX.....
