  • @spacepine You might need to take some night classes, Graffiti exsisted long before hip hop since greco-roman times.

  • @Iznikroc I never said graffiti was born from hip-hop. You in fact are mistaken with you're information about graffiti. It has been widely accepted that cave paintings and the like are the first real form of graffiti. The earliest know cave paintings are around 30,000-35,000 years old. The Chauvet in France is believed to be the home of the oldest cave painting. Looks like there's no need for me to take night classes after all.

  • @spacepine I think you better hurry up before add/drop ends. Graffiti is defined by writings and drawings illicitly scratched on walls of public places. Those caves were not public spaces anthropologists concluded that those caves were sacred and the drawing were ritualistic, a form a sympathetic magic enacted by early man to score a big kill. these were images were not illicit they were encouraged cause in early mans mind it was a matter of life and death....im not done yet

  • @spacepine also there have been other theories saying those paintings were star charts, the products of trance dancing, and even a narrative with a symbolic language one scientist is trying to decipher to this day. Just because it's on a wall does not mean it's graffiti. I suggest you take art history 101 and 102, you might learn something.

  • My life is played like a game sometimes - rules, players, officials. Traps... hmmm... form and function.... to catch or confine an animal or human? Subconsciously it could be a type of change.

  • THATS A PANFLUTE MUTHA FUCKAAHS

  • Tunis.

  • She has a great voice.

  • YIIIIIIIIIIHAAAAAAA

  • 64 DISLIKES? 1 million views? the trolls must be sleeping and the youtube admins are trying to make it like there are trolls on this video

  • 3:44 moment divin

  • fuck hate.love good music

  • this is actually progressive non confrontational mid era hip-rap-step,

who gives a shit? its proper. d-_-b ,,|,,

  • I got glared at by a black girl while listening to this today, presumably for being a cracker D:

I just like the song, fuck

  • @KalissaStarr Dude, forget her. If you like it, you like it. Her world must be small if she thinks our skin color dictates what we listen to.

I have to deal with the same thing when I attend metal concerts and my cello lessons. Way I see it, this life is ours to live, so if we can find living in this song, in metal, or classical. Then I say embrace it.

  • @KalissaStarr why would she get mad lol.

  • Fuck you shravanbhat and 1ewis, people like or dislike if they want. We can express ourself, so stop ask pour thumbs ups with your " 48 dislikes are that or that" and just listen the music

  • 57 people dont play games..

  • nice instrumental

  • sends chills right thru me! amazing!!

Wax tailor is amazing and Voice kills the beat!

  • Time for school boyz and girlz. Hip-hop is a culture comprised of breakdancing, graffiti art, DJ-ing, and rapping (emceeing). This beautiful song may be referred to as hip-hop music in regards to the cultural heading it belongs to, however, it is not a hip-hop song, it is a rap song. There are too many rap style subcategories this song could fit into to accurately label it, therefore it would be placed under the broad category of alternative rap (alt-rap). Does what I just said really matter? NO

  • @spacepine Yeah it does, And i apprechiate your argument, cause in all honesty, people argue defending their "Label." and are ignorant and would rather fight over their "pride" and don't realize how dumb they sound.. "i listen to underground... you probly listn 2 wayne name 5 old artist" and want attention.. throwin freestyle on some memrizD video, focus on fame n word play the rhymes create their lyrics, arn't benefiting the world in any way. Proving & Explaining = WAIST OF TIME /knowledge

  • @ThaLabratory Not a Wayne fan myself. I prefer Tricky or Kid Beyond. The fact is, this is a rap song. Knowing whether or not it falls under hip-hop or rap truly doesn't matter though. It's a wonderful beautiful song and it's irrelevant if it's mainstream or underground, hip-hop or rap. Side note, it would be refreshing to hear Wax Tailor or Aesop Rock thump'n 2 12's once in awhile instead of Lil Wayne or 50 cent. In my ride I rock The Glitch Mob and DJ Shadow with some Tom Waits on the side.

  • @spacepine What is the point of this comment?

  • @mafafacorp Which comment are you referring to?

  • @spacepine Your comment which is the top comment. I was just confused why you said it since you ended it with "Does any of what I just said matter? NO" hahaha

  • @mafafacorp There were several posts before mine with people arguing if this is rap, hip-hop, trip-hop, or the like. I just wanted to bring some clarity to the topic. "Time for school boyz and girlz", was my nod to old-school taunting, it was not meant as disrespect. My finale line, "Does what I just said really matter? NO" was my way of conceding to what ever title, genre, or classification this song falls under, because no matter it's heading it's still and awesome song.

  • lil wayne and 50 cent didn't make hip hop idiots thats called rap, i aint hatin thats just common knowledge don't disrespect shit you don't know anything about.

  • I love it how thumbs-up-whores disrespect tracks like this by mentioning 50 cent and lil wayne...show some fuckin respect people

  • God damn. This chick's flow is so fuckin' smooth. Melody mixed up with a jazzy electronica. Relax and chill. Badass piece.

  • I feel caught listening to this song...sry

  • @KrazyKuul111 I know the first sentence of the song, "when I was a kid, we used to play a game" is taken from "Faces", a movie directed by Cassavetes: maybe the "I think you know the rules of our game" is also an audio excerpt of that movie?

  • @KrazyKuul111 I know the first sentence of the song, "when I was a kid, we used to play a game" is taken from "Faces", a movie directed by Cassavetes: maybe the "I think you know the rules of our game" is also an audio excerpt of that movie?

  • @KrazyKuul111 It's from the movie "Everything you always wanted to know about sex (but were to afraid to afraid to ask)", directed by Woody Allen :)

  • @ItzJarrin cheers mate

  • hip hop aint dead - times has just changed

  • I like the style and sound of old school hip-hop, not just cause it's old. And that style still exists it's just harder to find. New hip-hop/rap sounds different. The beats are different now. I don't like most of it.

  • i love it

  • Wax tailor is really cool old school musicant

  • Why people can't enjoy the music as it is?

Props to who keeps it real

  • this girl nails it. such a good voice and very dope verses...

  • @vheartrocks, well if you want to get technical, Hip-hop is not a genre (or type) of music. Rap is the genre. Hip-hop is a culture containing 4 element: MCing, DJing, breaking and graffiti writing. Love Dialated Peoples

  • voice

  • wow theis woman have realy cool voice ilove theis song <3

  • Comment removed

  • This is incredible!

  • the womans title is "voice"

it says at the end of the video

  • Hip-hop isn't dead, it's just underground!

  • @djbryson all good music is, almost everything mainstream rock, rap, country even is good if you listen to local music. people like metalica and toby kieth ruined their genres
