Actually, you have Disney to thank for that. Dubs vary in quality based on a number of factors, but one of the factors is the involvement of the original studio. Some studios basically give the dubbing studios free pass to do whatever they want to make the dub popular, others are SUPER-STRICT about everything, and have to approve casting, scripts...everything. Disney falls into the later category. They supervised all the foreign dubs, Japanese included.

@Honeydew7396 Not always, if it fits it fits. I don't mind dubs into any language so long as the voice suits that character well. Anime like Death Note have good well fitting voice actors. Also sometimes it depends what one you heard first. Dragonball Z the English characters are what a lot of people are used to so when they hear Goku in Japanese and he still sounds so useful it seems odd to thsoe who are used to the English version but either one fits in it's own way :)
