Where was Elvis living before he bought Audobon Drive? I can't believe it was the Lauderdale Courts. That would mean that Elvis was living in the projects when he was a millionaire in Feb of 1956???

@Humes53 You're right it wasn't Lauderdale Courts.  The family had moved several times since living there but they hadn't owned a house.

I was fortunate enough to be able to tour through the house with my wife while Mr. Freeman owned it. What a fantastic feel for the Fifties! My wife and I have been to Memphis five times.
