  • @thenewmike2012 mike... No hard feelings, but your whole argument is based upon prejudgement. First of all, you should never single out any race and inquire why they have not been engaging in something particularly productive when most other races are not either. You said Chinatowns are everywhere. Well... That's about it. No caucasian town, Irish town, hispanicville or Arabland. So don't single any race out. Secondly stop generalizing and learn to be colorblind.

  • I think African Americans should take a clue from Chinese Americans. When Chinese people come to America, the FIRST things they do is open stores and buy real estate in low income areas. Then they use that money from that income to support thier families & send thier kids to college. Almost EVERY major city in the US has a Chinatown. What do black people do when they get money?...buy diamond earrings, big flashy cars and move out to the white neighborhoods. Its all about community support.

  • @thenewmike2012 Chinese Americans didn't come to America under the same conditions as African Americans. Sure, there is a valid argument that African Americans can do more for ourselves, but this ongoing dialogue about how African Americans needs to stop complaining needs to stop. If this conversation is to be had, it should be between the African American community, that's when it can be realized.

  • @thenewmike2012 Besides, where in this video is there a discussion about African Americans and their setbacks? So since it's a political conversation where a black intellectual is speaking, you find it appropriate to generalize this conversation to your bias about blacks? You're saying all black people buy diamond earrings and cars? You should try and transcend your racism, I'm not assuming you're white, but white people do it to, but did you perversely generalize them?

  • @TatsumakiEverett My point, unfortunately, is incontrovertible. I have been to MANY states across America & finding "Chinatowns" and Chinese owned clusters of businesses in predominatly Black areas are literally EVERYWHERE! So, again, why arent low income Blacks uniting and starting their own stores in their own communities? Im HARDLY a racist, but its generally true that when Blacks DO get a bit of money, they go for white women, lots of 'bling" & move out of the "hood" instead of giving back.

  • @thenewmike2012 when blacks get money they go for white women and lots of bling wow lol anyway black people find it hard starting their own business because of the legacy of white people stomping out black progression and the fact black people dont have the acess to capital that everyone else does but do white people when they get money give back to their poor communities i dont think so rich white people stay far away from poor white people

  • @MrDiplomatSwag Did you missed my original post? Please scroll down a bit for it. I suggested Blacks take some pointers from Chinese imigrants to the US and how they support each other to get ahead once here. Its CLEAR that some Blacks just have non-productive priorities. Explain how NIke can release a basketball shoe and cause Nationwide riots in Black communities? Those shoes cost as much or more than the best I-Phones out there. See my point?

  • @MrDiplomatSwag Im going to try to send you a Personal Message on this so Im not limited by the numbers of characters that fit into these boxes, If youre up for a civil, good discussion on this, like I always am, lets chat there. - Mike.

  • 1:54 "She lives in a San Franscico environment of very strange fantasies and very strange understandings of reality."

Attacking the character of the opponent and not their assertion is an ad hominem logical fallacy.

  • Well said Michael !

  • @justjulie37 I agree it was definitely well said, but the sad thing is that it needed to be said!!!

  • Wow
