Dwight is lucky hes in the East. Most of the good big men are in the West. I highly doubt Dwight's stats would be as high as they were in regular season if he was on a team in the West.

Offense is what sets the line between Yao and Dwight. A lot of people think Dwight is better than Yao. However, if you look a little deeper thats not true. Defensively Dwight is probably better than Yao, in general. But everytime Rockets play the Magics, the Magics never win. For 2 reasons, no one can really guard Tracy McGrady on the Magics and Dwight can't hold Yao. In fact I've never seen Dwight get his usaul 13 boards and 20 pts on Yao before either.

Houston is 7 wins two losses when yao vs dwight. Yao ming averages when the two face are far superior to dwights, he is just simply too big for him two handle. densively no question that dwight is better, much better rebounded, defends pick and roll better, athletic machine. But so much focus is now spent on not even letting yao receive the ball. Offensively Yao is much better, just because he doesnt dunk as frequently doesnt mean hes a lesser player
