I personally found D3 to a letdown. It was obviously intended to be more like other FPS games, and there were never any ball-crushingly hard parts like there were in D1 or D2. The game was so easy that it got boring, I stopped playing about 3/4 of the way through.

I've always been able to play D2, but I've been playing D3 ever since it came out. I lived under a rock at the time so I played the same exact singleplayer missions for 11 years until I discovered that the multiplayer was still running. But still, that singleplayer never got old for me.

The part where I went into the outside was when the music got all freaky on me! For that reason alone, I alway's mute the Level 1 music.

i rember the tima i frist time i played this on 1999,

i was just 7 or 8 years old and that music was soo freking scary

it still freak me

but i love this game

i have reed rumors of a new descent, descent 4, being developed (not the cencelled in 2000, a new one) i hope its true
