I'm not sure what some people are bitching about. This song was the greatest creation produced in Revolution Renaissance's time. The album it originated off of was pure gold, too. If you can't here a melody throughout the whole of the album, you failed to listen to it with open ears, and an open mind. For those that love this song, kudos! :P

Glad I went to Wikipedia after discovering Stratovarius to discover this break off band. I loved Lord of the Rings video with their song Destiny. These Finnish bands are fantastic. I love all the unusual musical elements lacking in many USA bands. COOL!

Yeah, man. At first I hated the new RR album, but I have really gained a liking to it. I think all the songs just grow on you the more you hear each track. But this song especially. Is MY FAVOURITE

What comes to album "New Era". It was 110% written for Stratovarius and yep they did full demos of it too in 2006. This demo sounds way better - at least to my ears, hehe - than RR album. You really can´t compare that NE album to anything..it was made up in a real hurry! Tolkki needed to record his stuff quickly so he could move on and start gathering musicians to RR. My opinion is that finally RR is a real band and it sounds too here in AOA album. Sorry if U can´t agree, lo ;)

Say what You say lulz but now - finally - RR is a real band. And Vocals are great. Let allready these old farts like Kiske go! Let them be. RR is Tolkki + youth and this is exactly the right way, the right direction. You will see yet =)

BTW..I allways loved Kiske since the good ol´ Helloween days but now is time for new winds to blow...

@linkinmuse I'm sorry but Victoria's Secret is older... This one from 2009, but Victoria's is from 2003... anyway, I like both songs. I love Tolkki and I think that this one is only inspirated ( citated ) by Sonata Arctica, because Tolkki has no reason for stealing melodies :-)

new era is not that bad...i think it has good songs...the fact is that we all were waiting for a new "episode" or "visions"..."we are magic" is cool..."eden is burning" has a nice riff before the solo....stuff like that...it can´t be double bass all the time...(or should it be..???). ok, i admit: i love my fat timo..jojojo....

it´s NOT the only good song....there are others like "heart of all" , "kirie elison" or "the ghost of the f G"....yes, there are no fast tempo songs (double bass) but fat dear timo played a lot of these songs w/ strato...so please you be nice with TT.......

Well, Age of Aquarius was far more better than New Era. In my opinion New Era was horrible. This one is far more better. Hopefully in the next RR albums there will be some more fast tempo songs.

I enjoy listening to both RR albums. Honestly, New Era is way better than AoA. Gus' vocals are nowhere near Kiske , Tobias, or Pasi. I know that sounds like an opinion, but most would agree that's a fact. Why RR didn't keep/invite any of the vocalist on New Era is beyond me. Gus is ok though. I'd give Polaris a 7/10.

Kiske is obviously way better but I only wish he would join as a full member of the band instead of a guest member. But in my full opinion in these two albums i think Tolkki and the rest of the band can do much much more better.

I agree. Kiske should've been a full member of the band. Unfortunately, Kiske doesn't love Metal the way he use to anymore. He only sings for the genre when his friends call him. =(

already listened to the album - and it is REALLY the only good song. the other songs are completely like "mother gaia" from old stratovarius times - no real melodies, slow or midtempo music without drive, nothing to remember... disappointing :( maybe some people like that kind of songs, i don't

Well, I compared to Stratovarius's new album Polaris to RR's new album Age of Aquarius. They both are pretty good but Polaris has more fast tempo songs and it's more Power Metal than anything else. Age of Aquarius feels more Gothic Metal. I'm just hoping some better ones come out in the future.
