okay you punk, AJ.. I watched the link.. and I found a weird respect towards gays, especially the ones who came out at early ages, because I really admired that they got up each day and dealt with the shit people gave them just for being gay.. I always was liek man I wish I had enough balls to be a lesbian.. and holy shit, here I am.. But yeah, long distance relationships are more stressful and difficult, agreed.
All of my relationships have been long distance at some point and my current relationship has always been long distance, a 125 distance. If this ends, I couldn't do it again . . .
i watched the 20/20 episode when it was on tv, it really amazed me. kuddos to the parents =] i was thinking about that episode when i read the question monday, thanks for showing it to the world :D
On the other hand I've found that in long distance relationships you tend to value the time with the other person more. I'm seeing a pattern tho' that women (straight or gay) don't seem as favorable to them.
Well that was a twilight zone experience. I actually (sort of) know Jeremy through his sister and had NO IDEA he'd done this documentary. I knew he was transgendered so that part wasn't a surprise, but it was very strange to all of a sudden recognize one of the families. Huh.
if you say so, anyways I guess I just have nothing better to do in my life but i sat down and watched that whole 20/20 thing and it was pretty good. I just didn't know if someone asked you about transgender people or if you just wanted to share the vid, anyways thanks for sharing, good luck in your search for your Tuesday girl, hope she wears glasses like the rest of yall do!
ok so not only does the girl have to be pretty, takes good care of her self,S- smart,B-smart, and lot of other things, the girl has to live near you? Damn woman what more do you want? I've been making your list and its getting longer and longer. Take care! Nice video!
omg thats awsome i remeber watching that a while ago and it really blew my mind and answered alot of questions that i had so YES PEOPLE WATCH THAT VIDEO!
To be perfectly honest, I don't really see how 'king' and 'queen' would merge into 'kring', but who cares! Thanks for the tip-off on 20/20. Even though I'm just a tomboy and not trans, it oddly brings back memories from my own childhood. Aged three, I remember feeling different and like I wasn't entitled to expect the same things (family, kids) in life others were. Fortunately my dad, who's a teacher, always stood up for me, supported my choices and told me I could do anything I wanted to.
Heh. *busted* Yeah I asked AJ if she could give me a hint on who the new beaver is. I'm just naturally curious. She gave me the "I will tell you this....whomever we choose will have two eyes." response. She's a smartass but we still love her. :)
I think coming out as transgendered at a really young age is different then coming out as LGB. your sexual orientation has more to do with who you find sexually, emotionally and physically attractive where trans has to do with interpersonal gender. with all the typical gender discrimination (girls:tap boys:football) put on babies and small children i think it would make sense for a child to realize at a young age that what they feel inside does not match the box society tries to place them in.
Hihi... just a little not on transgendered kids and queer kids (my cousin is 7 and transgendered): When kids are that little, often when the "come out" it has nothing to do with sexuality at all, it more like a little boy saying, "Mommy I want to be a girl" or "why can't I be a girl". And sexual orientation part usually kick in around the same time puberty does.
I agree AJ, long distance is really hard. Sex is super important to a relationship, and if its only happening sporatically, then the chances of cheating are much greater.
Oh and thanks for the beach shot AJ - You totally made my day!! :D
AJ great Vid! yet again! cant wait to find out who the new beaver(s) is/are! fyi (i know AJ probably knows this already) for viewers who dont know... not all trans people are gay... Yer Fuckin RAD AJ! Thanks for the continued support man!
that's awesome that your mom let you play the sports you wanted!! my mom was the same way. i lasted for like 2 classes of ballet and two of jazz dance and complained that I hated it bc all we did was stretch! haha.
