  • Tiebreaker, with 33 likes and dislikes! I tipped the balance into Like because the performance of practitioners should be judged by their skill level, not by the perceived skill of the judge's own abilities. Even if my kata are better than hers, hers are still good by her own skill.

Students are often reflections of their teachers. Judge her not for what she's learned.

  • Shito-ryu Rules

  • good kata just needs power and body feeling...well done, people that say its bad can you put yours on here so she can see where she is going wrong!!!!

  • Very weak. Poor stances. Where is the spirit? You must practice much more. Do research on Real Okinawan Goju Ryu. Good Luck.

  • @dgpranayama Here we go with keyboard warrior comments. Dude where are your videos?

  • chinese influence is visible

  • good job:)

  • Seemed more like a Sneeze when the name of the kata was taken . . . =(

  • one of the worst martial arts perfomances I have ever seen....

  • you forgot dinamic tension!!!

  • you forgot dimamic tension!!!

  • why is shoring-ryu and gojo ryu thesame, not these, this isnt gojo ryu, its shoto base from the action secuted, its shoto

  • this is not the goju ryu version in goju the kata is called seiyunchin this looks more like the shotokan version

  • @louisoostra Its Goju

  • @thecj29 watch the performance of higaonna morio sensei then you will see that the real goju ryu version is called different and is performed different

  • @louisoostra Each school of Goju do their forms differently. Seienchin is a Goju form not Shotokan.

  • @thecj29 that´s not true because higaonna said you are not allowed to make changes in the kata. that is also why goju ryu is a ko-ryu style and not a style that changes kata every 6 months. Please check iogkf.com you wil not find seienchin there the goju ryu form is seiyunchin.

  • @louisoostra You are commenting over a spelling, this form is a Goju form not Shotokan. The movements are Goju, forget about the spelling.

  • @thecj29 you´ve obviously missed the first 2 lines of my reply....there is no kime or muchime in this performance and some of the techniques are just wrong.this is the shotokan version impossible that you can call this goju ryu. and if your teacher teaches this as a true form you´re being ripped of. this is gonna be my last comment since i haven´t seen a single argument from you´re side. train real goju ryu then come back and revieuw your opinion about this video

  • @louisoostra This is a bad form. But, Shotokan does not have this Kata. It is just a bad goju ryu form.

  • @louisoostra No "karate" is a Koryu as "karate" was introduced to Japan around the 1920's by Gichin Funagoshi.Chogin Miyagi was also responsible for the spread of "karate".

Koryu refers to ancient schools of Japanese martial arts which is almost exclusively weapon styles like kenjutsu, kyujutsu, naginatajutsu, yarijutsu(that would be sword, archery, halberd,& spear for those who don't know Japanese terms)

  • @louisoostra every school has changed kata from the originator of the kata. Some styles change every 6 months. The only kata that are original are the ones made up by the founder of the style. For "Japanese" styles this would be the original Okinawan masters.Other modern styles have different kata made up by there founders. Some are bassed on old kata and some are brand new. Some are crap and some are good.

  • eu dava uns 5 pra ela... primeiro lugar é que ela nao fez bem, ela nao fez os movimentos firmes como deveriam ser. ela apenas executou o kata como qualquer um

  • @immanualkant1989 yes a cat stance.

  • what stance is that at 0:37 and 0:43......???

  • @ImmanualKant1989 neko ashi dachi

  • @jabbertones not that it was, b/c it ends with a perfect neko ashi dachi. good question.

  • @jabbertones Cat stance ?

  • Looks so different from how I learn it :/

  • at last the same as what i'm learning. every clip on youtube seems to be different or under the wrong name. brilliant stuff!!

  • Hi, she is tall and beautiful and nice 2 watch;) Technique is fluid and soft ( chinese influence?) , but lacks raw power. Keep on working ,darling. Best of training.

  • @kyuubifox66 pois, bem me parcia ... igualmente , faço o mesmo LOOL

    Saynara

  • Nice work keep it up!

  • Keep the fingers tight on the open handed blocks or you'll break em when you fight. Also, don't have such narrow Sanchin stances.

  • very good form, keep polishing it now..

uraken must be an effective strike, fast..

as you pull in and thrust with nukite, allow your torso to turn with the nukite..

second break 45deg arms must go to right side then push forward, not just put them in front.. practice bunkai oyo..

  • it's just a little bit different from our isshin ryu version, but I like it! good performance.

  • wow were i learn it's completely different.. lol

  • Very good! Interesting how many styles there are. I noticed that you didn't kiai the fist time though, but thats not too major. Keep it up, you make me want to work on my kata more.

  • very beautiful, but try to keep your elbows in more.

  • Very good, keep up the work
