  • He came to mind today -- I remember seeing him on Candid Camera when I was a kid. I looked up the video so that I can now share it with my kids. Thanks for posting. Always appreciate someone who shines and brings smiles.

  • @lola3174 - Aww, you're welcome. I have a second video of him on here as well. It's listed under "Vic Cianca - Pittsburgh's Dancing Cop."

  • i could see how nobody could tell what he was saying, but still, although kinda effective, he would really make your commute worth wile, i mean, who wouldn't sit in twenty minutes of traffic just to see him in the morning

  • victor cianca is my great uncle. rest in peace victor s. cianca<3.

  • I remember him from when I was a kid! I've lived in Northern VA since '92 so I missed the coverage of him passing away. Although my family in the 'Burgh should have mentioned it...

My thoughts go out to his friends & family. Remembering him will always bring a smile; just as he did for so many of us lucky enough to see him in action.

  • Great video. RIP Vic.

  • I remember watching him when I was a kid and my mom took me downtown to shop. Then, when I started working downtown, I loved watching him on my lunch hour. We were proud when he ended up on Candid Camera too.

  • Thanks for sharing this, an important part of Pittsburgh's collective memory.

  • lifes what you make of it
