They say say Liz Taylor was the most beautiful woman in movies. But I don't think she could compete with Lucy in her early years. I lways thought Lucy was the most beautiful actress in movies. After all beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

@misswings83 i wonder if lucy ever realized the magnitude of the love she generated here in america & around the world.

i too am a die hard lucy fan, & it never ever ceases to amazes me how many people repeatedly say they love her, desi, the "i love lucy" sitcom vivian vance, william frawley (btw a childhood friend of my grandfather), & everything associated with that program.

and its not just the 50's generation who lauds the "i love lucy" institution, even children of today love it!

@wntoply6 She actually didn't. People had to constantly remind her and she'd look at them kinda funny, like they were pulling her leg or something. I know. It's amazing. And she so richly deserves it. She really does. She may have died, but in so many ways, she's immortal. She's still here. Still impacting the world. It's incredible.

@misswings83 when young, i lived in california for a number of years & once made a special trip to one of the desilu studios & had my picture taken in front of the logo. it looked like scarlet o'hara's tara (don't think it was 40 acres though), but never got to see her in person while there.

i had to move back home to see her up close & in person when harvard gave her the hasty pudding award in 88.

i've met many celebrities, but what a thrill it was to at least once be in lucy's presence.

Beautiful tribute! You always do such an amazing job with these tribute videos. Also,I was listening to my life would suck without you by Kelly Clarkson today and I thought the song was PERFECT for Lucy and Desi..I dont want to make it sound like I'm pushing it or demanding it but just thought it would go well with them.
