haha, you think you would like one,,, i have one, its a great little car, but its very expensive to fix, and breaks down all the time, mines an 08 has 45000 km. i hate it. dont get one.

It's imperative that people research cars thoroughly before purchase. Minis are very specific cars, and they will throw a fit! It and cars LIKE it, are typically not good with winter or pimply roads due to their short wheelbases, low profile tires and tight tuning. Even then! My aunt owns a Cooper S in Minneapolis, and no problems yet. It all depends on your personal experience.

Why is it that some of us have western university degree with honours, work hard but can't afford anything because we live in poor coutries (if we try to live and work in rich countries they treat us like criminals...)

i've been in my friend's cooper s, awesome ride and sound :D, but too expensive.. with 25k i could take a 15k car plus 10k for engine and stuff and make something much more faster.. IMO

i went to mini in santa ana, and they can get me a used mini S for 22 grand with warrenty

bmw just pretty much holds the name and designes the engine now, but keeps everything original from when Mini was british owned. The U.K. still makes the Mini tho. Mini=German owned, but is made in England still.

Mini is owned by BMW, just like VW and Audi.

Maybe I wasn't very clear! BMW bought MINI several years ago. The VW group owns Audi, Seat and Skoda.
