Pryor uses the pretext of a roast to say some stuff he is really serious about. When he talks of working with these people he says "it was hell in terms of whatever happened" and then immediately starts to ask about the lesser known staff. Amidst all this , he points out that someone was responsible for firing 4 of the 5 black cameramen, and replacing them with whites. You could see that Pryor is seething about this, but he dresses it up as just a bunch of roast jive. Damm, what a genius!

I went to see Arnez J. this past weekend,he was hilarious! Not only did he keep the very integrated audience in stitches the entire time, but the most notable point of the eve was the absence of profanity, vulgarity, offensiveness! I have a pretty high tolerance for some things, I wonder why our comedians male/ female find it necessary to saturate acts with enough crudeness to choke a moose? Tone it down a tad & be funny without making my ears bleed from their rawness!

I really can't fault someone for trying to do what they think is best for their career. Bottom line is that if we want change, it's up to us to demand it by not patronizing vulgar comedians.
