I saw them live supporting Snapcase and their Fan the Flames release in 1996 in a basement. Still by FAR the best show I've ever witnessed. You've NEVER seen a band steal the show like Refused... EVERYONE was there to see Snapcase, and you'd swear absolutely everyone there would have been perfectly happy to go home after Refused's set.

I shot this video. This was the second gig Refused played that day. They had done an afternoon gig in Dublin then drove up to Dundalk to play the Sunshine Bar.

Don't be too hard on the people at the gig - they were just regular Saturday night punters in their local pub who had no idea what was about to go down. What you can't see in this are all the people behind me that were there to see Refused . Great gig.
