What set Roky and the Elevators apart from crowd........that damn electrified jug!!! Who the hell was playing an electrified jug...before or after the Elevators? None....I rest my case.
Better than Van - no way. They started playing this after Bryan's Blokes played it in Austin in the 60's. The Blokes played it at a sane pace. I saw the Blokes play a reunion in Houston in Oct. 2011. All the original guys. Check them out on Youtube at Bohemeos. Cool band. I also loved the Austin band the Baby Cakes in the late 60's. Roky is still kickin'.
An actual STARGATE/PORTAL-THING was caught on film in New Mexico. The footage can be found within the short-film entitled "SUDDEN PORTHOLE", which is parked at the PROJECT CAMELOT YouTube page (it's under the George Noory video).
I'm not selling anything…I'm just trying to spread the word about the unseen-dimensions we find ourselves embedded in.
My BLOG contains peripheral data regarding the movie and is where I reply to the "debunkers" (use search words "SAM ZURICK" & "BLOG"). THANKS!!
does anyone know where to find live footage? and im not talking about roky lip synching.... i mean real preformance footage? if so, please, please send me a message! i have audio from a live show, and it is incredible! now i just need to find the video!
amazing stuff...used to listen to the transistor radio under the covers praying the batteries would last..great stuff from wolfman jack or a station in salt lake city...excellent! it is good. thanks a bunch!
Haven't read all the comments so sorry if this is a repeat. You can see the jug in the photo above. That jug with the mike was how he created the flying saucer sound. At least that's what I always thought it was when I was listening stoned. I've never heard anyone do that sound but the Elevators. Love the thundering bass too.
This sounds like some underground shit he found out in the jail. Some weird cop formation shit. They don't even give a fuck who stays or goes. It has nothing to do with what is right or wrong.
anybody know any good programs to reverse songs i'm trying to see if they got any backmasked messages i'm convinced they'd would have put some in any elevators fans out there that can help
Good morning, do you like sixties? Listen and pod cast my program " great sound of 60' s " on the site plumfm. Greeting and made blooper in rock and roll.
Salut, vous aimez les sixties ? Ecoutez et podcatez mon émission "le super son des sixties" sur plum fm. Salut et faites gaffe au rock'n roll.
Van Morrison wrote this whilst in Them and it was released as a B-side to 'Baby Please Don't Go' in 1964...Goodness knows how many covers of it have been done since then tho'...
The shadows of Knight did it first, the way you can tell if their version is on your radio is you do not hear a organ playing like in the Them version that came up just a few months or a year later and became the best known version of them all...
@LemmyX777 It's from the boxed set, Sign of the 3 Eyed Men. Also a poorer fidelity recording called Paradise Lost. Lots of great live stuff in the boxed et.
@mjaysee Yes, I've heard Patti do it many times at live shows, and she's magnificent, and there's Jimi' and Jim's versions and Them, and the Shadows of Knight, which was the first time I ever heard it as teen in the 60s. I love em' all. It's just One of The Greatest Songs of All Time ! I just love Roky. God Bless Him ! He's a good man, and he's getting healthier every day.

Mr. Stacy Sutherland is one of the most underrated guitarists out there! His playing still gives me chills, no matter how many times I listen to him.
