Thanks for this, voteBNP. I haven't ever heard a full speech by Simon Darby, but he's a very attractive common sense type. Good clear radio voice too. He mentioned the exemption of political parties and the cost of legal work. And identity stuff. I must say it's impressive how Darby and Griffin keep their temper.

It's interesting that this radio show couldn't get anyone to comment on the news item. (The 'comedian' is obviously nobody). It's the same syndrome as 'Question Time' isn't it.

I will just say I do disagree with Simon when he said he would feel closer to a White Polish person than a British born Black person.

The point is that the question was deliberately skewed. All other things equal Poles are more assimilable than Jamaicans. However the interviewer tried to make the question more complex by comparing apples with oranges. In other words he compared settled blacks with unsettled Poles. Hardly very unbiased or scientific. Plus the question itself presupposes that all blacks have settled well and that all Poles are newcomers.

In addition the question demanded a one-size-fits-all answer. As if one would prefer to befriend any black British citizen compared to any Polish migrant. In reality there are is a continuum between the two choices, and the question deliberately ignores this continuum and demands a discrete answer. Clearly there are some blacks that might have similar mannerisms, behaviour and beliefs that one might prefer.

You are immediately assuming all blacks born in Britain are loyal, stable, law-abiding, decent etc. As a Serb born in London, I have interacted with Eastern Europeans and blacks born in Britain. I have more in common with Eastern Europeans as they are Slavic and culturally similar. I am a Serb and therefore not indigenous British. You obviously haven't read the BNP manifesto or interacted with any members if you believe that they would throw any non-indigenous person out of the country. As it happens, even that was their policy I would still vote for them because I also vote on the basis of the national interest of Serbia. They were the party most vocally against the bombing of my homeland and that initself deserves respect.

I also am against the EU for my country and will therefore vote for parties that are against it in their own country. Their opposition to mass-immigration is also something that I would agree with for my own homeland. There are many other reasons, but those are some of the main ones.
